I've come to the decision that the Gorm option would work best for me. I want a solution quickly and cheap. I'm gonna power it all (probably) with a One Spot, and I'll see later what I do with a case.

Still have to have it, of course A few good things: -Playing for 3500 punkers, completely freaking out. -Playing in Leipzig as the headliner on a huge ska festival. 3000 German ska fans, totally out of their mind.

I like slapping, but the problem is many bass players don't know how to limit the amount of slapping in their songs. It's always either everything or nothing.

He he, I have thought about buying a tweed rack case for the head. However, I've chosen not to do that, because the Aguilar rack cases have no possibility of closing the front and back. The rack case does, and is easier to carry.

I always take a poop about half an hour before playing. Also, I tune about a thousand times just before playing, even though my basses rarely detune. Longer before? I'm always ready to leave about an hour before I actually have to leave. And I always have the feeling I forgot something. And oh yeah, I never, ever listen to the music I'm going to play on the day itself. Never.

Could you maybe describe the difference in sound between the Wizards and Nordstrands?

Right, I've taken the gamble and ordered Gotoh GB7s. I hope they'll fit.

I am in doubt. I maybe want to have Nordstrand Dual Coils (or Fat Stacks) in my bass instead of Seymour Duncan Basslines, because I think I can get more out of the bass with Nordstrands. Problem is: they cost me about £200 extra and I don't know if they'll fit one-on-one. What would you guys do?

But they're absolutely worth it The Henzelli is great as well. I think the looks are something you really have to get used to, but it sounds and plays so awesome!

I already own a Cobelens & de Bruyne Primo bass: Maple body, merbau top, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, Seymour Duncan Basslines soapbars, Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. But because of some things I didn't like (size, weight and neck size) they're building a new bass for me. It's going to have an ash body, spalted birch top, maple/wengé/greenheart neck, ebony fretboard, SD Basslines and Aguilar OBP-3. It's in progress at the moment, and I hope it's finished by Christmas. What do you think of the bass? I've noticed about half of the people find it ugly, and half think it's stunning. I think it's absolutely wonderful
