2. No other options? This has to get in: The OC-2 is not mine but a substitute for the EHX Dr. Q. I will be getting soon. On the whole the case should be about 20"x17,5".
3. I have a signed Tower Of Power setlist, a Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra setlist and a NOFX setlist (and an El Hefe plectrum). But what I like most is Marcus Miller's signature on my bass. He gave a masterclass at the conservatory where I study. I knew the guy who had organized the whole thing. Marcus seemed to have had some problems at the Dutch customs with his bass, so it hadn't arrived yet. The organizing guy game running to me: "Do you have a bass with you?!" "Yes, why?" "Is it a Jazz Bass?" "Yeah, it's my Blade. Why?" "Can Marcus borrow it?" "Errr...sure!" He didn't use it... he could borrow another bass that was a Fender, he told me afterwards, and since he didn't know Blade he used the Fender. So, of course, I said: "Do you want to have a go on it now?" And he said: "Yeah, of course!" He really digged the bass And I made him sign it:
4.
My latest and I believe greatest...
That is absolutely stunning.
5. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work... One of the washers has decided to break in half and the rest of the tuners aren't what they're supposed to be... However, I don't know what tuners to buy. Hipshot? Schaller? Gotoh? And if so, which types fit my bass? I've heard that Yamaha hardware is regularly "it just doesn't really fit", just like IKEA. I know you can buy parts at Yamaha, but aren't they super duper expensive?
6. It's a stock Yamaha Japan tuner. Resembles a Gotoh.
7. Congrats! I know how it feels
8. The tuner of the D-string on my Yamaha TRB seems to have broken down, all of a sudden (I really don't have a clue what happened, I didn't touch it except to tune it). It's supposed to look like this (it's the G-string): But it looks like this: Do you guys know a solution? Or do I have to buy new tuners?
9. I have the Ernie Ball VP JR, awesome pedal. Just buy it.
10. I want to make a pedal case for my pedals. I only have a few (5) so it only has to be small. These are my effects. The OC-2 is a temporary substitute for the EHX Dr. Q. that is on its way. So it really needs to be small. I was looking at the DAP Showmaster 24 case: This is the big version, but there is a smaller version of this case. I was wondering if there is a cheaper alternative to this solution. The DAP case costs about £45,-, but if it can be cheaper
11. But, you know the internet rules: pics or it didn't happen
12. I had one of those. It was from 1988. At the time indeed one of the cheaper basses by Yamaha, but they're still amazing instruments! The buzz might be coming from a screw or something. Try holding some parts while the bass is buzzing.
13. Keep getting back to these: Although I have a cool P And that ís mine. That's just gorgeous. This pic made me want a Celinder for about 5 years. Now I have one. Mine as well
14. I'm left handed, right footed. I play bass right handed (which is also a bit due to the fact that my mom gave me a right handed guitar when I was only 5), drums left handed, football right footed.
15. I don't have a board yet (gonna order it next week), but these are my effects. I'm GASsing for a Big Muff. I'm gonna buy one soon.
16. I'm GASsing heavily for the Ibanez IDBB5 double bass guitar gig bag... But I don't know if my basses will all fit in it. My Cobelens & de Bruyne bass is quite big (it doesn't fit in my case but does fit in my GEWA gig bag), and it would be a shame if I bought an expensive bag like this and my bass doesn't fit... Does anyone have the dimensions for this bag?
17. And this is what my stuff currently is.
18. Actually you're all wrong. The tweed version has the most mojo and therefore sounds better. I have had these for a while now and had an Ashdown ABM500 EVO II and an Aguilar AG500SC (I still own the Aguilar) and they're the best sounding cabs I've ever heard. Honestly. About the optical illusion: you're right! Except on the last pic, the bottom cab seems bigger, but that, of course, is perspective
19. Bought this Squier VM Precision for €200,-, and installed a Gotoh 201 bridge, CTS pots, pickup cover and finger rest. Absolutely fantastisch Precision bass.
