1. Provisionally sold!
2. You know you want to! If you come down would you mind bringing your JV P?
3. Thanks everyone. The only thing I dont like about this bass is the slab body. I just can't get on with it at all. If it doesn't go I won't be too upset to be honest. It's a tone monster. I just wish it had contours. The more I look at it the more I don't want to let it go
4. Now sold. Thanks everyone

6. Up for sale is my 1982 ibanez blazer. I bought it a few months ago from gum tree. It's all original and in really food nick for a 1982 bass, the exposed grain body is a little tarnished from sweat and has some buckle rash on it but the neck is perfect. The bass is 100% all original though, everything works as you'd expect it to, no scratchy pots, truss rod works, tuners work. The tone this thing produces is amazing, not far from a p but with a little more growl. I think this is due to the ray esque pickup placement. No pics ATM but I'll get some up tomorrow via photobucket. I want £225 for this which I think is fair for the condition and rarity of the bass (you don't see many of the early one around) it comes with a gig bag and I'm happy to post at buyers expense I'd rather a sale for now. Trades may become an option later but I have my eye on something for now.
7. No problem. I'll stick a sale thread up and let you know
8. What sort of trades are you looking for dude? I love this! Would my 82 blazer and cash be of any interest to you?

20.
Yeah, thanks for bloody reminding me!!!! I accidently found the very bass that was used in the Spinal Tap movie, and arranged for a friend of mine to buy it, I believed Chicago Music Exchange had the Spinal Tap bass, they told me they did, then 6 years later they threw theirs up for sale, I got the serial number of theirs and it was made 3 years after the film was released (they are still heavily hinting theirs is the Spinal Tap Bich) This is the REAL Spinal Tap Bich bass The reason it has red necks now is that when Spinal Tap returned the instruments, they were all in a bad way and sat in my friend's office for over a year before they resprayed them and sold them on, he was the vice president of B.C.Rich The designer of the Bich shape, Neal Moser, has compared the grain patterns and neck cut angles on the red bass to the stills from the film and has confirmed the bass I found is the Spinal Tap Bich, had I friggin' known that at the time, I would have sold a kid or two!!!!!
That is the best story ever! I'd love to own this
21. I love these basses, although I doubt I'll own one for a good while
22. That's gorgeous.
23. I think they look way to METAL! There's nothing remotely "the who" or JE about them.
24. Just via email atm, the only Internet access I have is through my phone.
