1.
6 knob basses aren't THAT uncommon... are they?
It's a bit of a knob fest
2. Lovely looking bass! I've never seen a transitional musician before. I have to say I prefer the old headstock. Congrats
3.
I thought these only came in 2-tone burst?
I can definitely see red in the photo.
4. I can't stop looking at this bass. It ticks every one of my boxes. I can see it on Dusty Hill
5. Words fail me. That is gorgeous.
6. Shouldn't have sold my - 78 P precision bass, Black and Rosewood Aria SB II elite, Pearl white and gold Gibson Grabber, ratty looking, evil sounding MM Stingray 2eq, Black and maple Kn*b
7.
I've just emailed Adrian to change my spec for the millionth time. He's sent a very patient and understanding reply, even though I know he's actually sticking needles in an effigy of me.
Post the spec already!!!
8.
Are they going to be at the LBGS? I might be joining this club soon but I'd like to try the Jake basses first if at all possible. Also - and this is a small point - I'm not a fan of the 'jake' name and the general graphic appearance of the headstock, do you guys think it would be naughty to ask for a plain headstock, or one that has my own artwork on it?
You can just have the centred M logo, like mine
9. This strikes me as apples and oranges. I don't see many similarities apart from the silhouette. Still sounds like an interesting experiment. As a former grabber owner I have always been curious about the ripper. Never played one though.
10.
That's the one! - No doubt the Sandberg is a great Bass, but just for a laugh I only took a P Bass to my gigs last weekend, and had no trouble at all! So I thought, you know what, lets get a really nice Jazz and that'll be fine! Therefore my Sandberg VM5 and Musicman SUB 5 are now up for sale, in the for sale section! Will it ever end? I hope not!!!!
Ahhhhhh i'd love to relieve you of the SUB.
11. If it wasn't for my recent unpronounceable purchase I'd be all over this
12.
Thanks Gents - I'm really happy with it - Now for the 5-string clearout! Turns out I don't need the B string after all......
Is that the Sandberg who's praises you were singing?
13. Jesus, these are gorgeous! Not sure I'd be able to part ways.
14. Gorgeous bass, congrats Lew!
15.
Great, thanks! Are they suede type of fabric on the back? All leather ones I've had in the past tend to slip a bit.
Mine isnt. It's matte on the front and shiny on the back. I have no slip issues at all, the bass balances pretty perfectly. I'd go as far as to say I prefer it to my Comfort Strapp. The leather is nice and tough too, once its over the strap button it aint going anywhere, it did take some convincing to get over in the first place though
16.
What strap model is the one included with the bass, please?
Mine was the PES35 aswell
17. Excuse my ignorance. What's a B Neck?
18. Tort for sure, gold would be better if it was a 2 colour burst.
19. I'm incredibly tempted to enquire about an ebony Mensinger preacher (Les Paul) bass.
20. That really is something special.
21.

These are spectacular.
22.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooo! What is that??
Its a Maruszczyk Jake with a couple of custom options, namely the black hardware, reversed headstock and black painted neck. It's a beauty isn't it?
23. Just taken delivery of this beauty. Black enough?
24.
I have used my Lakland BG almost exclusively to gig for the last 5 years never found anything that came close no matter what i tried , have to say bought one of these as stock off the website so good not used the Lakland since and have just bought WOT's White Jake as well. These are amazing basses at the price point quality of build, attention to detail and the hardware is superb to get this quality elsewhere i suggest you would pay a substantially higher price. i'm aware everything is subjective but i'd be suprised if anyone ordering one of these basses either stock or as a custom build was disapointed Cheers Steve
I'm in excatly the same boat with mine. So much so I think I'm going to sell my BG.
