I listen most days to Spotify through my HiFi, but when we have guests over or I've had a right skinful, the Vinyl comes out (got about 500 classic rock, sad sack that I am). Still great fun but trying to get the right LP's into their sleeves the next day is a nightmare!

This thread makes me want to lug my SVT back out from under the stairs where it's been sulking for ages. Think I used it once last year due to the weight and a free loan of a very light Markbass combo and PA setup. I do remember what others have said, paired with my 410 HLF I would invariably have to turn the bass right back and scoop the low mids up quite a bit as it was just so bass heavy that the rest of the band would kick off ( pot, kettle, black - guitarist 100W Marshall and 412). But if could get the mix just right it sounded glorious. That was usually difficult due to time constraints (setting up the PA etc). If we get any gigging in this year I'm deffo going to give it another chance

FYI that did go on FB along with some other covid restricted band rehearsals, some even got over a thousand views, not massive but ok. We also gigged 40 times last year, got well paid for it and put out an album which we sold out of online (ok only a hundred copies but it's a start) I'm not going to have a popcorn barney with you but if you want to say something I can respect, try and be a little less arrogant please. never had that problem in either DaVinci resolve or even reaper video editing. Sounds weird, sorry I can't help but it sounds like a frame rate issue. I think daVinci notices the differences and offers to standardise them when you load a new clip on a timeline. might be worth downloading it and giving it a go? It's free.

would love to be gigging again by May but I haven't even approached our usual venues for gigs next year. I imagine some of them may never reopen, in fact I know of one in Sidmouth who confirmed they won't be putting gigs on again. Might get a few outdoor gigs I hope..

Got a bit sweaty clicking on the link, was half expecting my lot to turn up! But..good on them for having a go, hard song to get right.

@EBS_freak enjoyed all those videos. Some questions. Were they all static cameras or was someone holding at least one? The wedding video looked like there was someone in the crowd at the very end. All the transitions were hard, was that intentional? Do you have a strict(ish) amount of max time on each shot before you cut? Somebody once told me 6 seconds but I could have imagined that! And lastly how did you record the audio? They were all of an excellent standard by the way

This is a great topic, I'm really enjoying everybody's videos, and seeing an improvement with every upload. I recorded this last week, on Reaper and edited again in Reaper, it's become my go to DAW and Video editor, I've ditched garageband and daVinci resolve, Reaper is so much quicker, uses less resources and sync'ing is a piece of p1ss. Thanks to happy jack for making me think about transitions and Dad3353 for taking mixing and mastering a bit more seriously. Tell me about it! I'm the one lumbered with all the cameras as well as setting up the PA, Im amazed if I get more than 2 minutes to set up my own rig. What will you be using to actually record the audio? I see you're using a tablet so are you running the Behringer Xair 18 or something similar? Due to time constraints and an analogue desk we will still be recording live gigs (as and when) with the Zoom onboard mics which aren't too bad but I'd love to record live gigs into a laptop running Reaper, something you could do with a digital PA/tablet like you have. Of course by this time, you're more engineer/Roadie/camera person than bass player!
