    I got very close last night. But I went to bed and woke up thinking I’d made the right choice in not buying. Then the two sets of pictures above have sent me under. Mad, it’s just a red Yamaha P...but I want one.

    I also had a Status GP, Aria Steve Bailey, 2 Fender Marcus Millers, a Sadowsky RV4...and a 75 p. they're all gone now, and what remains above is the culmination of much research. Also bought a new interface and a Zoom H4n

    @Eldon Tyrell Thats a brilliant video. Love Dave - he’s such a nice bloke. I still have a Yamaha book he gave me in about 2009/10. He does a great hooky impression, probably better than hooky himself 😂 anyhow, that video hasn’t helped. I’m drinking wine...and my credit report came in today and it’s up...again. Maybe time to be irrational.

    Erm. Dunno. I like playing it. And it sounds good. Very “direct” sounding. But it can’t do the slightly pushed vintage thing the Sadowsky has nailed on. So, if I could get both sounds in one, I’d be made up.

    Just spoke to a mate who helped arrange the PH video (he works for PMT). They're not particularly limited, as touted in the BB thread. The hand signed ones are all gone.

    Watched this - nice to see the place I got my first proper bass (when it was sound control) being the setting. Funily enough, a red bb... that hooky sig bass looks great.

    Think it was “TV Pelham blue” where you could see the grain under the blue, they did a silver version too. I think this “faded/aged” Pelham has a slightly greener Hue.

    I’m not sure on that - I reckon it’ll be parchment/cream. The proof will be suing them in the flesh. Which I fear would see me with 2 jack casady basses in funky colours.
