The Flea DVD was bought for me and although i enjoyed the jams with Chad Smith I didn't learn anything from from the other parts of the DVD the thing that annoyed me most about it was at the beginning of the DVD Flea says "we wont be talking about theory as i don't know any" But when he is asked about his exercises he says " I play major scales at varying speed up the neck and i like to slap octaves" Rodders

  14. I tried to tune my G string (same gauge as yours) to a C (going for Tenor bass tuning) I didn't technically break just the windings got a bit stretched out so I wouldn't worry about tuning up a tone Rodders

  17. Flea. I liked him to begin with he's a very good player he claims in his video that he has no knowledge of theory whatsoever and yet he knows the major and minor scales and the octave interval which he clearly shows in his exercises
