    My Fenders are just fine. I once had a Lakland Daryll Jones. It was a nice bass but not in my hands. The Fender Jazz just felt right. It's really down to your own preference. However, just because a particular make doesn't suit a player is no reason to say that they are not good basses or that there is a Holy Grail bass just waiting to be found amongst the rubbish. Fenders don't suit everybody. That's just fine.

    My son gigged a BTB 1405 for a while and really liked it. It is a great value for money bass. There is a cracker for sale at the moment over at Classic & Cool Guitars at a very reasonable cost.     Parcelforce. I understand completely that the Highlands and Islands of Scotland would incur an extra cost. However, would someone in Exeter expect to pay surcharges if they ordered something from Inverness? Can we also agree that the Highlands of Scotland are part of the UK mainland whether or not it costs more to deliver goods there. This is a small country and therefore it is incredible that couriers make exceptions!

    It would be handy to know what you regard as UK mainland as various couriers have different interpretations of this. It's all a wee bit confusing especially when you are many, many miles to the south west of where I live.

    I agree that the issue is with the EBMM forum where absolutely no criticism of MM guitars, basses, accessories etc is tolerated. The justification is that the company is paying for it and so it is perfectly acceptable not to accept criticism. I don't have a problem with that so just regard the forum as an advertisement for EBMM and never go there.

    I have the same bass in same colour etc. They are superb instruments and a steal at this price. Just a shame you don't have the case on such a recent instrument.

    Does the price include shipping to the UK? If not, how much to ship the bass?

    I've said it before so I might as well say it again. USA SUB was my first MM. I then got two Stingrays on 2eq and one 3eq. I still have the USA SUB which is my only MM. The 2eq and 3eq have gone. USA SUB all the way for me!

    I got the 'Sonic Highways' album yesterday. Eight very nice tracks (if you like the Foos that is).

    I also have a 2010 Jazz. These are magnificent basses and I cannot believe the price being asked here. This is a huge bargain for a beautiful mint condition bass.
