1. 500 watts 4 or 8 ohm switch, excellent condition. With original case. I have another amp for sale elsewhere, whichever goes 1st, I keep the other. In Wigan. Any trial. Thanks for looking, feedback linked below, cheers, Karl.
2. I took mine in a trade with the intent of moving it straight on. I gigged it this afternoon, Jeez, astonishing. The clean sound is fantastic. Looks like my OBT may go up instead. Good luck, fabulous amp.
3. I won't put mine up this afternoon then . Bargain price for an excellent amp. GLWTS.
4.
Well if the sound is comparable to the '98 USA model in this video, I'm very interested. And as you know, I'm not fussed about dings and scratches :-) https://www.youtube....h?v=rgzD3vcrExE
Yup, sounds like that, good bass to play, already having second thoughts. Got 5 gigs in the next 9 days, may re-visit finances after that (ie sod it, I may well keep it ) Sold.
5. Very nice Steve, 'ave a bermp. (top bloke to deal with peeps ).
6. Thank 'ee chaps. Staggeringly little interest in this wonderful gigging machine Still, I guess you can get a new Mex Lake Placid Blue for £100 less
7. Thanks umcoo & Tom. Lozz, I toyed with the idea of getting a claret mirror plate (MK 1 'Arry) or a brushed steel plate (MK 2 'Arry) as this bass is lighter and a slightly narrower neck than the Japanese Harris signature basses. Also seems to be a bit cheaper than the Japanese ones are going out at Never got round to it .
8. Due to purchase of a rare Precision, I need to reluctantly move this one on. As per title, 1998 Aqua Marine Metallic Fender American Standard Precision. Lots of battle scars and dinks, including fretboard and side of neck wear. I have feedback which I always want to protect, so for this one I would prefer collected from Wigan. Then you make your decision. A great sounding & playing Precision, one of the best I've played. I've forked out £1200 on two basses in two days, so............................. Weight is 9lb 2ozs, comes with a hideously beaten but functional hard case, plus extra black WD scratchplate. TRADES. NO, NO, NO. Except a Road Worn Jazz, or Flea Courier. I would prefer not to, because it's not exactly pristine and I don't want anybody to be disappointed. If you must have it couriered to you, YOU will need to organise it, pay for courier and just let me know day of collection. UK only, sorry. Any trial in Wigan, thanks for looking, cheers, Karl.
9. Beautiful. One of my old girls. GLWTS, it's a belter!
10. Can't thank you enough Jim, really appreciate everything you've done. World class to deal with
11. Yeah, go for it. I was asked to audtion for a similar band late last year, doing 2 sets 50's/60's RnR, 1 set Elvis, as the singer does solo Elvis tribute gigs.. As some have said, remembering all the stops is the hardest part. http://www.rattledmusic.com/ The biggest difference I have noticed is when you gig with a classic rock pub band, every gig you have to prove yourselves. It's rare for the punters to be really enjoying it before half way through the second set. With the RnR, the girls are usually up from the 1st number. They are there to enjoy themselves rather than be kinda critically cool. Got some good gigs out of it as well, such as Monaco Ballroom, Cavern and we're at Glasgow's Grand Ole Opry on July 23rd. The one thing I detest (it spoils it for me) is a different "uniform" for all three sets. Enjoy
12. DUE TO SUDDEN INCOMING Reduced to £225 collected from Wigan BY 5PM tomorrow afternoon.
13. Crazily under rated and under valued basses (imo). This one has the added bonus of being passive with top rate Ki0Gon wiring. All you coffin dodgers like me, who grumble at out heavier than a bag of pork scratchings, just get this bought. STEAL!
14.
That's stunning if only you were closer.
Happy to meet in Buxton for a firm sale at £250, no further charge.
15. Can't believe this is still available, although you've hardly pushed it Jack. Still kicking myself for my dumb-ness.
16. Off hold and back up for sale. Again.
17. No longer on hold, back up for sale again.
18. Bargain imo. Might be an idea to give folk a rough location?
19. Harumph Well done that man.
20. Well, it's like this Geoff..................................................... I actually got my Barefaced up on Facebook, about 10 minutes before Dave signified these as on hold. Hey ho, someone got lucky.
21. Guess I'm not going to be able to sell my 2 Barefaced in time to get these back then
22.
If only it was white with a maple board... GLWTS Karl!
Unlucky Dunc
"How much more black? And the answer is...none more! It's like a black mirror...you can see yourself in both sides..."
Original owner was one D. Vader. That might be a lie
