1. Not much to say. I have both neck plates, gigbag isn't original (it's better IMO). Selling to fund something whose name shall not be uttered. Any trial in Wigan. Feedback linked below. I can't courier until at least Mon 30th but will try to accommodate any meet up. Cheers, Karl.
2. Good but not immaculate, couple of chips & dinngs. Both had handles replaced (although I cut the rubber a bit short on one ). Both with functional covers. Both have had the baffles done a dark blue by the previous (original) owner. I can not courier these at the moment but I will try to accommodate any meet up requests. No offers please, these are only up whilst Dan's Super Twin is. Feedback linked below, cheers, Karl.
3. I'm looking to cut my "van trips" from 5 to 3 (my 2 Barefaceds will be up later today). This wonderful amp is very light but doesn't fit in my gig box. Italian/Indonesian. Markbass stated same components assembled in Indonesia final QC in Italy, thus cheaper to customers. Late 2015 501 Indonesian model (the 500 had a steel mesh top which lets dust in). Superb condition. Currently around £700 new & the gigbags are about a ridiculous £80 new. I would very much like an Orange Bass Terror 500, immaculate, with Orange handbag, plus £100 to me. These fit in my gigbox. I will sell (and perhaps get a Peavey MiniMega to try ). Specs http://www.markbass.it/product-detail/tte-501/ Any trial in Wigan, will meet up within 50 miles of Wigan. Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl.
4. And replied. Forgot to mention, would trade for an excellent Orange Bass Terror 500.
5. Sorry to hear that, you ain't having much luck are you . Withdrawn I'm afraid.
6. Bugger, can't get mine up until the weekend. In the unlikely event it's still here next week Dan, I'll give you a shout. GLWTS
7. Certainly is Dunc I will be able to send this by courier next Monday only. £325, you pay for your own courier & get them to collect that day. Cheers, Karl.
8. It's always at the back of my mind, but it's such a well made bass I'm really struggling with the thought of parting it
9. Got to admit, I have been thinking along the lines of getting a Thunderbird body and getting it done Surf Green. I find the neck really superb (and the electrics, balance etc). So, your nudge nudge is kinda lurking at the back of my tiny brain .
10. That may be possible on Monday 23rd October.
11. Fabulous cabs these, they really do punch you in the chest when you drive them properly. GLWTS Nik.
12. karlfer very much appreciates your non-rude intervention An infinitely better job than I would have ever made of any demo All further PM's replied, one was close, very close.
13. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well done that man, played a blinder . Half hearted bump whilst I'm here.
14. Arty type photys from Sat night. Of no use to advert but I kinda like 'em.
15. Andy, might be worth having a word with Alex. I'm sure I read in passing that they are bringing a 210 out that is switchable between 4 & 12 ohms.
16. [s]Ready for a bit of glam plank spanking last night [/s]erm sorry, update for new photo.
17.
Offer still open here Karl.
Cheers Dunc, REALLY kind fella. Whilst the Pelham Blue NR Thunderbird is available, this is reduced to £500 cash, collected (or meet within 50 miles of Wigan). After that's gone I will most likely keep it Cheers, Karl.
18.
Explain PLEK'D for those who don't know what it is.... (ok me then )
Just for you Tom. Now retired so life is good. So you finally got yourself a Rik. Nice one. You have had some amount of gear since we met. I got the Mex P/J active earlier this year and i'm very impressed by it. I still love my Jazz tho and keep going back to it. Hope you are both doing well tho. All the best Dave
Retired???? You're only piggin' 15 !
19. Really kind, hope you're ok Dave. Guess these are like Sandbergs version of Mex Fenders. One of the 5 basses I gig regularly. 2 Mex, 2 Korean, 1 USA. I nearly always use my Mex FSR P/J. A good number of folk have asked to buy that one. My 72 Jazz, Rick & SEI never leave the house now. Maybe if I do the Albert Hall
20. After an initial flurry of trade offers, little interest surprisingly. Now been up two weeks, a long time for one of mine. So, deceased equine then.
21.
May be no help at all but if you can get it to mine (or I'll meet you somewhere), I'll do the postage or collection bit for you Karl. Might cost you a pint at some point in your life though!
Cheers Dunc, massively kind of you Mr. Hope I can take you up on that.
Interested if this is doable!
I will try & get something sorted Ben. Many thanks guys.
22. Interesting comments on the glam rock thing. I've recently joined a band called Recycled Teenagers (I'm the oldest by a few years). Next week's gig is a decent sized stage (unlike last nights!) so we're all going to use instruments of little taste, Firebird, V & Reverso. All a bit teenagy rock star-ish
23. Until you've owned & gigged one of these fantastic basses basses, it's difficult to appreciate the power & tonal versatilty they have. Really regret selling my purple anniversary model .
