Been to Gretna, Ecclefechan, Edingburgh on bass road trips Hutton, so it's not out of the question

Cost of insured courier on bass sized stuff has pretty much doubled in the last 18 months. It (to me) has become a prohibitive amount to ask a buyer for. I'm also usually prepared to meet half way though

So do I. Oh well

Just browsing & came across this. Mine is the earlier version, 2014, the American Deluxe HH 1V. On the lower side of "medium" weight, perfect balance. The 5 position Strat style selector switch is a pretty good idea, especially with Vol then treb/mid/bass cut/boost, although I'm still not a fan of actives. Lot of tonal variations. Wasted on me, I only use 2! It is beautifully built & superbly finished. Now, the neck on this expensive beast (the replacement Elites are pushing £2k). Oiled neck finish, graphite strengthening, truss rod wheel. Normal 1.62 nut, lovely maple board BUT 9.5 radius at the playing end, 14" at dusty end. The back of the neck is deeper on the bass side, shallower on treble. I have NEVER EVER played a neck that encourages flying around on it as much as this one does. It just seems to make chords, tapping etc, so much easier & accurate. If only I had the stones to make such a delicious & expensive beauty passive

Good condition, cheap because of issue. A previous owner has had the neck off at some stage. They have over tightened when putting it back on. This has caused a big lacquer crack. I have gigged this bass many times, the issue is cosmetic. I'm only selling as I'm going back to all passive basses. Would still happily gig this tomorrow night. TRADES Passive US Fenders, or possibly work out a deal on Magellan 800, Dark Glass 900, PUMA/EICH head. Any trial in Wigan, feedback linked below cheers, Karl.

Absolute joy to deal with, quick, decisive & did what he said he'd do, when he said he would. Enjoy the build Rod & thanks again, cheers, Karl.

Don't forget used Yamaha, some excellent buys up to £200. Try & buy used, if it doesn't pan out, you should be able to minimise any losses. Have a look on the Facebook pages for stuff local to you, as well as here, Bumtree & FEEBay.

Tread warily, I've had 2 and they were both weighty, pushing 10lbs. I also didn't like the frets, think it was because they were very thin.

Anyone know anything about these.

Cheap low quality early 70's, built down to a budget. Avoid. -
https://www.facebook.com/Troyen14 / Looking for GUITARIST. Great originals band reformed a couple of years back, 3000+ likes, gigs in the book, but not huge amounts. Although I'm on some of the videos on Facebook/ You Tube, I'm no longer involved, I left because I couldn't do European gigs. One of the founding members has had to stand down due to poor health. Please let me know & I will put you in touch with them. Cheers, Karl.

Jack, mine was exactly the same as the following (currently on Feebay at a lunatic £685). Believe me, mine was cheap, horrible rubbish, bendy neck, no intonation, awful electrics and action you could drive a bus under. YET I STILL scraped the logo off & replaced it with Fender, from one of those Dymo Tape things

Fake Fenders you bought and now regret selling

You guess wrong & continue with your blinkers on all things but your opinion. It's really a shame that you insist on going straight in screwing people's sales threads rather than having the courtesy to PM them. Wonder why you do that. I'm off before I get another Mod Spank.

No it was several weeks ago, at £200. If you had had the courtesy to pm me YOUR concerns rather than put YOUR OPINION on my sales thread, you might not have whizzed me off so much. You might like to check my feedback before making remarks like the above quote.
