  1. Sold & with it's new owner in Chesterfield. SHORT SCALE ! Taken as a part ex against my Attitude, it's never going to work for me. Good condition but not excellent, a couple of dints, some buckle rash and some of the satin finish coming off the back of the neck. Passive, vol, vol, tone light at 7lb 14oz Thomann have a current Gibson USA SG Bass in at £1100+ (depending on today's exchange rate). I AM HAPPY to talk trade, please don't be upset if I say no, or I have a different valuation of your gear, to yours. Sorry, Mex P's were £200 in '98, so yours ain't worth £400+ to me, now. As ever, any trial in Wigan, you want it couriering you need to pay for it & at the moment wait until the Mrs can be in for a day. Apologies. Thanks for looking, Karl. EDIT. Sorry, feedback linked after pictures. 2ND EDIT (I didn't sleep well!!) I have a good bit of loot to ad to something nice if required SHORT SCALE !
  2. Wow, fantastic looking, Sandberg quality , PASSIVE!! and a great bloke flogging it. You are genuinely evil Alain
  3. It's an '89, one of the post '87 without the painted back of neck. It's a sensible price, no matter what people put them out for they rarely actually SELL for much more than this, even in excellent nick & fully original. Tempted myself but currently saving for one of Santa Anna's finest GLWTS
  4. Traded with Grae tonight. The whole process was superb & thankfully he is one of the decisive ones. Thanks for everything Grae, really appreciated. Deal with utmost confidence, really nice top bloke.
  5. And just what insult are you going to get that you haven't had before GREAT look for an overweight 71 year old (spoken as an overweight almost 60 year old

  7. And he's been rehearsing with them tonight to do a few dep gigs whilst they are looking. I left as I was fed a load of BS by a supposed top pro showband, who's promises turned out to be pipe dreams . My 2 personal BBGM favourites are Bob the Builders Gay Mates and Baddley's Bottom Genocidal Methane (Jeff Baddley is the drummer ) Hurry up & get this gig somenody, please!
  8. Shop in Brum was trying to sell one for months at between £250 & £300. One on here & Facebook couple of years back with all sorts of statements about it, sold for around £300 in the end. I think it's possibly all the same bass just doing the rounds?

  12. It's sad so few people realise just how good the Yamaha Attitudes are. These are a top quality instrument, which, IMO, are on a par with the likes of Fender Custom shop, in terms of quality, build & in particular components. These things can low end rumble for God, or be more aggressive than a whizzed off Rottweiler. Superb to set up with necks that will never move, Very clever use of electrics. Any interested parties, think how superb the cheap Yamahas are. Then have a think about how good the expensive ones might be, GLWTS
  13. We're not alone guys, take comfort. I've see Maiden many a time. Whitley Bay Ice Rink, No Prayer For The Dying Tour, about Nov '87 I think. They played everything so damn fast I thought they'd gone punk . Hallowed Be They Name in particular was dreadful
  14. Another deal with Chris. The words that always spring to mind are honourable gentleman. Always an absolute pleasure, he really is Basschat royalty. Enjoy the bass & until the next time Chris, my thanks again.
  15. This particular beast is a wonderful, versatile, powerful amp. GLWTS
  16. Jazz. This is one of the original 6 Sea Foam Pearl that made it to the UK. It appears there are more now available, about 5 years after the original US Guitar Centre run.
  17. This fella is 1st go to, somewhere between 200/300 gigs. It's seen SEI's, Sadowskys, Alembics, Ricks, Status, Am Deluxes all come & go. But obviously, as many tell us, it's a crap Mex
  18. Be EXTREMELY careful buying anything proclaiming to be a JV. Counterfeit parts/logos/plates etc are easily available. You MUST (imo) see the bass stripped down.
