  1. The neck is a jazz profile with Biflex Truss Rod with Micro Tilt-Adjust as per spec. It is fine. I link my 6 pages of feedback to give possible buyers some confidence.
  2. Sorry Dave, totally forgot to leave feedback mate, head up anal tract this week I'm afraid. Ahem, moving swiftly on............................ top guy to deal with as ever, yet another fabulous ambassador for Basschat. Cheers Dave, until the next time..................
  3. Last bump before I keep this & just buy a Precision
  4. Anywhere in North Lincs is a trip for me, but roughly where? NE/ NW? Stunning bass, but sadly I can't get courier deliveries now.
  5. In the last 24 hours my Rick & Precision have gone, couldn't have been just one . I now need a Precision so I'm happy to trade, but trade price will need to be a bit more than cash price. A splendid '57AVRI would be nice. Please, no heavily modded, or "bitsa's". If you have something you might want to move on, please PM me BUT bear in mind I can't courier any more. Cheers, Karl
  6. Another trip over to Alain's last night to relieve him of yet another splendid bass. On a slightly different note, I was lusting at his beautiful 70's Geddy style jazz. Even more gobsmacked when he revealed the back of the headstock. Wow ! Anyway, back to subject. Alain is one of the ones I KNOW will have a superb bit of kit for sale, and I know the deal will be easy. One of the very best. Until the inevitable next time, thanks again fella.
  7. Very reluctant sale but seeing as my Jazz & "other" bass are only attracting trade offers, & I need to SELL a bass, gotta put this one up. When one goes, the other two will be removed. CIJ, 70'S RI in Capri Orange, slab rosewood board, 8lb 12oz. US pickups, alder body, TV logo, 41mm nut. Please note it has some dinks & a finish chip, but is in quite good condition. Do not expect immaculate. No trades please, gotta actually sell something. At this moment due to work I CAN NOT COURIER. I will meet up at no extra charge, within 50 miles of Wigan Feedback linked below, any trial in Wigan, thanks for looking. Cheers, Karl.
  8. You surpass my skills young Jedi
  9. That's fabulous info @Zemak thank you. I always thought these rarely came up because they didn't sell very many, your research shows a very different reason. It also sheds light on why they aren't more popular, clearly most folk aren't aware of how good they are. Or how few are about. Perhaps I need to re-think whether to sell this, or one of my others. Thanks again, cheers, Karl.
  10. I'd forgotten about the Dan Smith stuff, although if this was one of the AVRI's from that year I know some have gone for twice this price. All PM's now replied thanks, sorry, but I need a sale (unless you're going to chuck a custom shop at me)
  11. All PM's replied, sorry folks I need a sale I'm afraid. SOLD thanks
  12. Cheers Brian, yup, excellent amps. Sold thanks.
  13. As per title, 800 w at 4 ohms or 2 ohms, 400 watts at 8 ohms. 5.5lbs. Excellent condition, UK mainland insured delivery is another £25. Sorry, no trades. Spec on Bass Direct site http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Mesa_Boogie.html Any trial in Wigan, feedback linked below. Whichever goes 1st (this or the Genzler Magellan) I will keep the other one as they are both terrific amps. Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl.
  14. Great great amps, mind, that bass setting scares me. When I used mine with Barefaced cabs & passive basses, I used to have to dial the bass back to 9 or 10 o'clock. GLWTS
  15. That's a rather disturbing memory brought back to life
  16. OK, European friends. If you desperately want this; Pay me the required amount of GBP by bank transfer Buy yourselves the cheapest return flight to Manchester airport this weekend & I will meet you at the airport, with the bass Cheers, Karl.
  17. Cheers Karl, appreciated. Can somebody buy this please, there is FAR too much interest in my Ivory '83
  18. Sadly they won't take anything over 125 cms (and that's even before the fraud they call insurance). But thanks for trying to help Lee, appreciated
  19. Thanks for all the positive comments from guys who have had one of this model. Much appreciated. @Raspatue , really sorry, but as stated in original post I am no longer in a position to sit in & wait for a courier.
  20. Tom has also nearly completed his mission to own all 2012 FSR Antiguas in the northern hemisphere.
  21. Absolute pleasure to deal with Pete. Decisive, great comms, paid before I'd finished the acceptance note Seriously though, yet another great ambassador for Basschat, deal with utmost confidence folks.
