1. Bassassin (Jon) did this with one of his fakers. Wonder if he will sue for copywright
2. Sorry, the system won't let me alter the above price, but for clarity.................... PB62-72AB £500 1986 E series Fender Japan PB62-72AB (non export) IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, although being black, a myriad of tiny surface scratches. Won't photo. AB = All Black. Factory matching headstock. Odd one arrived in the UK over the years, usually imported via Ishibashi. TBX passive tone control (unlike normal tone control, can cut treble OR bass). Just had pro set up, new strings. Light at just over 8lbs 12ozs, factory made without pickguard, bridge is not original (originals were bizarrely Fender BBOT in chrome). Cheers, Karl.
3. Thanks fellas, much appreciated. I was just really wondering if BF buy the handles in and they just come with 4 bolts, yet the cabs only require 2 bolts. The original handles, well it just seems the rubber wears more than anything.
4. So, question learned ones. I have two handles, one for the Midget, one for the Compact. I've replaced BF handles before BUT.......................... Same as last time, I've got 4 bolts for each handle. But there are only two holes to put bolts in. Last time I just chucked the extra bolts. Should I be drilling two extra holes Ta in advance (I'm not going to email BF on a Friday night).
5. Back to LIverpool Empire '73, yowser
6. Dunno, but headstock truss rod adjustment isn't the stuff of reissues or 60's/70's copies, as far as I know.
7. Orange Bass Terror, despite all the heads I've tried. Joint second Streamliner and Markbass TTE.

10.
I've found the Epiphone Pro's to be really close to my Gibson Tbirds. To my mind there's slightly less resonance in the Epiphone body. I've given my Epi's a bit of a make over though, as you can see from the photo's (hopefully!)
Aww man, that white single pup,

18. There's new Epi Bird out in July, 2 piece bridge, chrome pups, Fender style tuners, basically a bit of a 60's RI. I'm jonesing for a white one. Follow the thread http://basschat.co.uk/topic/298790-new-embassy-and-also-thunderbird-bass-classic-style/ Oh and ivansc, I gigged an '84 Explorer bass for 17 years and found it to be a VERY long way from "utter cack".
19. I'm sure I saw some pop up that stated they were reducing final value fee from 10% to 3.5% Did I imagine this. Your answers please oh oracles of BC.
20. people would voice concerns about an ad by PM .
21. Withdrawn (sorry Jack, I've PM'd you, apologies).
22.
My old 1990 Jap 60's re issue, also had the brass strips under the pick up's. They should have earth wires soldered to them ?
It's a 62 reissue. As per real 62 Jazzes, there is an earthing strip running from bridge to bridge pickup, on the top of the body (see pic #3)..
23. Cheers Mark, very kind Nothing on bottom of either pups, but certainly well made. The foam is in super condition for a 21 year old bass. As are the brass?? strips on the bottom of the pups.
