1. Nice score. Looks amazing, bet it sounds and plays amazing. Refins dont bother me at all.
2.
Yep, all the time in my driving guitar punk pop days. Used to break a string every 4 or 5 gigs but then I did play fairly heavy with a pick. Not heavy as in heavy music, heavy as in I play heavy. Got quite good as being able to improvise the bass lines with one less string. Quite a weird feeling when a string breaks. String goes all floppy and it feels like everything goes to jelly as both hands try to make contact with a solid string and trying to find the right note on a different string I have found that now I play with fingers more, I still dig in really hard and get a clanking sound as the strings hit the frets and pole pieces on the pickups. I tend to hit down on the strings rather that pluck them upwards. I guess its different if not ideal
Ditto

4. Liking the vocals up front, thats how it should be. Get that P bass turned up!
5. Drago mi je! excuse my crap Serbian. My Mrs is Serbian, originates from Smederevo, been here for 10 years. Welcome aboard
6. The Pino! its gone from your sig?!
7. I have a mid-late 80's Korean Squier Jazz which I've owned from new. Its a fantastic bass. It endured at least two years on the road, literally thrown about in the back of a van without so much as a gig bag. I treat it with much more respect now and it sill delivers. Can't comment on the later models though.
8.
OK, since you asked here's my 61P in Olympic White or at least it was once. Same age as me, sounds awesome, very proud to own her.
Thats bang out of order

11. I was under the impression that The Thumper was the way to go but after a conversation with Andy, he assured me that the Trads would fit the bill, and he was right! I'm sure you'll be really happy with them.
12. If you like the sound of the present strings and they aren't knackered them leave them on, thats what I do. Takes about a month for strings to break in for me.
13. I have a Trad in my mid 70's P. Lovely woody tone, plenty of output, nice Andy Rourke tone when played with a pick. Just the ticket for what I was looking for.
14. Looks all there to me. Awesome looking bass.
15. Ive got a Trad on my P, plenty of output, cracking tone
16. I recently bought a set of Dunlop nickels (45-105) for my P bass. Really happy with them, they settle down pretty quickly and a nice tension. Pretty cheap too. Worth checking out.
17. You could achieve between £800 - £1,000 if the right buyer came along. Nice looking bass.
18. Lovely collection, lovin the blue P.
