1. Ooof, nice. Sounds boodiful through my headphones. Sounds just how a P should. Would be perfect if the camera just stayed close up on the P
2. Nice one. You do get to play some nice spacious stages! How are you getting on with the Schro?
3.
Snap (P bass too) LMII and Schro cabs, just made for each other. These things are the enemies of osteopaths everywhere!
Top man, I have to say Im very envious of your P!
4.
Wow, that's a really compact cab! It looks about the same size or smaller than my Aguilar GS112 when it's on it's end! I've often thought about getting my grubby ol' mitts on a Schroder cab, just so I can have a single cab 4 Ohm solution. Hmm, well my 30th is coming up soon, might see if I can treat myself... Cheers, for the GAS, Eude
Thanks for the comments folks I needed a smaller cab mainly because of a hernia that I dont want popping again and this certainly solves that problem whilst delivering volume and tone that keeps up with my very loud 3 piece band. It sounds like a cliche now but my bandmates really are blown away by the sound. My singer/guitarist has played/toured with me for over ten years now and Ive had full on SVT rigs etc and he reckons this set up just sounds much better. They are pricey but I suggest you treat yourself sir! jonthebass Posted Today, 12:09 PM oooh - what the age & spec of that lovely looking white P bass you have there? The white P is 75/76. Ive had it refinned an aged oly, it actually looks a bit more yellow/greeny in the flesh. Had a refret at The Gallery, they did a splendid job. When I got it, it had been played to buggery (for good reason) but its now in tip top condition, I didnt want it reliced as I can now play it without worrying about the odd ding etc. Its very light at around 8 pounds, which goes against the 'mid-late 70's Fenders are all heavy crap' speel, has a slight overhang on the neck pocket but the neck fits snuggly to the top with no gap and the strings all line up pretty straight. Tone wise, all the pickups and guts are original and produces a really nice fat tone with a nice woody growl, I'm guessing its swamp ash that makes it so light and resonant. All in all a lovely P! Raggy Posted Today, 12:06 PM Great looking set-up there. Nice choice of patio slabs also!! Kinda Curvey!! The slabs came with the gaff, cant be arsed to change them!
5.
Is that a 0.88 Tortex I see?
LOL, theres nothing getting passed you boys this morning
6.
Schroeder 1210 or 1212 on its side? Lovely set up.
Spot on and cheers!
7.
Nice setup dude. What's the cab? Eude
Cheers my man. Its a Schro 1212L. Had a good few months with it now and with the Littlemark and all of those basses it sounds amazing in rehearsal and live, plenty of bottom end delivers the rich tone Ive been after at silly volume.

RIP Leftysteve

Sincere condolences . Prayers go out to you.
10. Here's mine. Fandabydosy
11. I'm going to try all diferent ways. Read a few threads where people had tried it this way up and found it agreeable. Just set it up quickly in the study so it wasn't really intentional. Ideally onstage I'd have it the way it was built and raised off the ground. But my God this set up thumps
12. Here's a crap pic of the new rig
13. Will do. Might check if the neighbour's in later, if not I'll crank it up. First impressions tho is it is alot deeper sounding than I was expecting...which is nice!
14. We were obviously in the same shipment. Just picked mine from Parcelforce this morning! Had to pay an extra £53 for some reason. Anyhow, all Ive managed to do is unpack it, stick the lm11 through it and give it a quick low volume burst. It all sounds very promising with my Jazz and P with flats. Taking it to London tmrw for a rehearsal and a full workout. Will get some pics done when the weather cheers up a bit! Very excited
15. Definetely. I'll be putting an mxr m80 in front of it to ad a tad of dirt, see how that goes. Look forward to your review!
16. Superb, thanks for the response. I basically need one becuase Im gigging a bit more regularly and need something thats easy to lug around as I now have a repaired hernia that I dont want popping again and I want the volume at my finger tips and something that will pair up nicley with my LMII and Precisions. I got turned onto Schroeders through WOTs and Daves excellent detailed exploits and lurking on TB where they have a very loyal fan base. I have no doubt that I'll be blown away. Jorg is a joy to do business with.
17.
My 410L was on my doorstep in just over two weeks...
Yeah, I remember yours being very speedy. Mine's been about 2 weeks now and I'm chomping at the bit. I shall try and remain patient and not bother the mighty Jorg.
18. I've got Jorg building me a 1212L at the mo. I wonder if its the same spec as that?! Out of interest, how long has it taken for you to get to this stage?
19. Just got hold of the Markbass bag from Thomann. Pricey but fits like a glove and I love the ease of the front and back zips.
20. I love that bass! Owned a few JV's and SQ's and regreted selling them all. If I can shift my USA P I might be interested in this.
21. Ive been looking forward to seeing this. Absolutely superb. That fretboard looks absolutley monster.
22. Just picked up Mag 210 cab off Stu. He even got out of bed early as I arrived a tad before schedule! Top man and a pleasure to do business with.
23. Congrats Andy, that looks like a superb effort.
24. Good suggestions. He used it towards the end of The Clash and with Havana 3am Would love to know if he used/uses flats or rounds!
