1. Similar body shape as the Lakland or the Ibanez RD.
2. Nice, I like natural finish basses.
3. I did ask him if it was Mexican or USA and he confirmed it was a Mex. I don't know where he got the £729 from, maybe he has mistaken the bass for a USA thinking he got a bargain and trying to make a profit or he got stitched up by the shop he bought it from.
4. I have now bought a Schaller copy so I'll see how that goes.
5. If they did pay £700 for it they were done. I think it says Made in Mexico on the back of the headstock.
6. I thought one bass was enough until I came on here
7. I'm not fussed about filling or drilling holes, I just want something more substansive (a bit more mass)
8. Yea I had one of those on a Cort bass I had, defo worth a thought.
9. I am going to get a new bridge to replace the bit of wonky tin on my jazz bass. I'll probably end up getting a BadassII but what other alternatives are there out there for less cash? Anyone used any other bridge that has a similar spec? Cheers

11. I tried one in a shop last year, it was one of the first lot (no badass etc). It was alot of bass for the money if you consider the cost of a Mex and a USA.

13.
I don't think any bass will categorically blow away any other bass; it's all personal preference. I've played all sorts of boutique basses that I have absolutely no time for, and several that I've thought were amazing. I've played lots of cheap basses I've had no time for either, and yet have also played several of those that are amazing. It's all about what suits you. You need to try an instrument before you can judge it, as it's all about how it fits your body, hands and ears.
I would 2nd that, also there is nothing worse that selling a bass to fund another only to find it is no better or worse than the one you sold (I know I've done it). The way things are with the market you might not get what you want for your bass, so it might be worth waiting until it picks up (if it ever does).
14. I've not long bought the 4 string version of the Dolphin SN and found it a cracking bass. Is there any other reason you would want to sell or change your 5. As with alot of the "odd" shaped basses they are not everyones cup of tea but that shouldn't be a reason for getting a different 5 string. If you like how it sounds and plays, keep it. I don't know anything about the Mike Lull basses so can't comment on how they sound compared to the Warwick.
15. Forget the bass I'm getting me one of those tea sets.
16. Space can dictate how much I move. At one gig I did with a band last year the space was so tight the only moving I was doing was to stop the guitarist stcking his guitar up my arse whilst trying not to KO the drummer. We must have looked like the red devil display team without the motorbikes.
17. Going by the diagrams on the Fender site, I would also suggest it is soldered to the same tag as the red wire
18. There are some on ebay, graphtech or something like that, usually a couple of quid. 19. I can't see it anymore keep getting an ebay message. Damn and blast, I was gunna buy it. At such a bargain price reminds me of the Simpsons when Homer had the wax crayon put back into his brain.
20. I don't think it's doctored, you'd be suprised what you can do with a camera.
21. Very iffy, I had loads of these idiots when I was selling stuff on othe sites. I used to play with them for a few weeks then tell them that I know what they're upto and to piss off.
22. My Stingray went last Wednsday morning to it's new owner.
23. They look ok in the pic's, I would certainly try one out.
