Thanks guys, I haven't heard it with it so couldn't really miss it..to get a replacement would cost around £70 - so says Alex from the Bass Gallery. Seller is now incommunicado...classic
-
So as it stands just don't use the tweeter and I'll lose a bit of the top end??
-
Me too, and yes an established member so it's a bit weird as everyone else I've dealt with has been great Hopefully it'll get resolved one way or another, but the thought of probably paying another £60 for a replacement tweeter almost puts it level with buying one new...huff and puff! To be honest with the lack of communication I didn't think it was going to turn up, but fingers crossed there's a genuine reason for not getting back to me and it can be settled. Dave

or could this be the reason why I haven't been able to contact the bc seller since it's be sent?
-
Yeah I know...the horn section was split into about 4 pieces..it's held in place by two screws instead of the 4 but wasn't sure whether it would still operate fine..won't find out for a bit as my head is on it's way. The cab itself is fine so not sure how this has happened

Hi all, just bought a DB112 and it's turned up and the tweeter is in pieces (the joys of DHL),I can't contact the seller but wanted to know if anyone has any ideas on how much a replacement would be (providing there was no insurance in place) and where the best place to get one would be. The other questions is really who uses them Thanks Dave

Love it, Squire is the business..didn't know he played a Jazz on that album, or was it just this track? -
I played it in a covers band years ago and it just thuds the root notes in the verses..I did funk it up a touch in the chorus but nothing outrageous..that songs is all about the guitarist (s)...weirdly enough. Love the song though,Devil Inside has got more of a groove going on!?!

Shame they have to go,but good luck with the sales. How many basses have you got, surely you don't have to sell them all at once..might be best to spread the sales out as things may get better for you soon and you may look back and think why did I sell them all. Just a thought mate, good luck again Dave

Hi all, here's the blurb Warwick Blue Cab 60.1 60 Watt Bass Combo Amp - The powerful Blue Cab 60.1 is fan-cooled and delivers 60 watts with a 12" speaker. It has separate inputs for active and passive basses, a 3-band EQ, line out, headphone jack, FX-loop, a bass reflex housing as well as the new adaptive volume control. A foldable lever on the rear enables it to be used at a 45 degree angle. More Details: The beginner- and practicing combos with the professional sound! Even if the power values look small, the tone and volume are stunning and make practicing at home a pleasure. The units focus on basic useful features, whereas sound-calibration of speaker and amplifier design is the same as all the Warwick combo. To optimize monitoring the Blue Cabs can tilt back - thanks to the collapsible foot on the backside. Features/Specifications: 60 watts combo Fan-cooled 1 x 12" speaker (power rating 60W, max. 80W, 8 ohms, 97dB, resonant frequency: 70Hz, frequency range: 50Hz-5000Hz) Separate inputs for active and passive basses Aux-in (stereo cinch jack), separately controllable Line out Headphone jack FX-loop Bass reflex housing Rear stand for 45° operation Further Details:: Controls: Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble Weight: 19 kg Dimensions (W/H/D): 40cm x 53cm x 33 cm http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/...s-Combo-Amp/C1N Hasn't been out of the house since I got it about 15 months ago so in great condition, postage would be around £20 I think Either looking for £100 or part ex for a dent head or cab, obviously with cash going your way...try me(not in a Gary Glitter way) Ta Dave

I've got a Classic Vibe Jazz with a Precision style neck on it with some Lakland flats and I have to say that playability wise it's right up there, sure the pups could be changed and speaking of which does anyone have any suggestions?, but outside of that it shouldn't really matter what it says on the headstock..it's how it feels when you play it. I love mine
