1. Some people loves Squiers on here, I'm playing a CV Jazz wth flatwounds on and I absolutely love it..a knife through butter! There are a few Squiers which will easily give Fender MIM's a run for their money. Think the best advice is to go and try some ! Good luck with the search Dave
2. Shame they have to go,but good luck with the sales. How many basses have you got, surely you don't have to sell them all at once..might be best to spread the sales out as things may get better for you soon and you may look back and think why did I sell them all. Just a thought mate, good luck again Dave
3. Sorry fella, think it's on it's travels to sunny Wales..well I hope so!

6. Hi all, here's the blurb Warwick Blue Cab 60.1 60 Watt Bass Combo Amp - The powerful Blue Cab 60.1 is fan-cooled and delivers 60 watts with a 12" speaker. It has separate inputs for active and passive basses, a 3-band EQ, line out, headphone jack, FX-loop, a bass reflex housing as well as the new adaptive volume control. A foldable lever on the rear enables it to be used at a 45 degree angle. More Details: The beginner- and practicing combos with the professional sound! Even if the power values look small, the tone and volume are stunning and make practicing at home a pleasure. The units focus on basic useful features, whereas sound-calibration of speaker and amplifier design is the same as all the Warwick combo. To optimize monitoring the Blue Cabs can tilt back - thanks to the collapsible foot on the backside. Features/Specifications: 60 watts combo Fan-cooled 1 x 12" speaker (power rating 60W, max. 80W, 8 ohms, 97dB, resonant frequency: 70Hz, frequency range: 50Hz-5000Hz) Separate inputs for active and passive basses Aux-in (stereo cinch jack), separately controllable Line out Headphone jack FX-loop Bass reflex housing Rear stand for 45° operation Further Details:: Controls: Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble Weight: 19 kg Dimensions (W/H/D): 40cm x 53cm x 33 cm http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/...s-Combo-Amp/C1N Hasn't been out of the house since I got it about 15 months ago so in great condition, postage would be around £20 I think Either looking for £100 or part ex for a dent head or cab, obviously with cash going your way...try me(not in a Gary Glitter way) Ta Dave

Just found out the news now, really sad news..was only chatting to him a couple of weeks back and he was so helpful Great guy who will be missed, especially by all BC'ers.
10. You know what it does and what it looks like...Green Label, no box or manual in pretty good nick, looking for EHX Bass Big Muff or OC-2 Or £40 incl p&p Cheers Dave
11. Just bought a CE-B3 from Shaun, top stuff and a great guy to deal with Cheers mate Dave
12. PM re Muff...oooer Missus
13. I've got a Classic Vibe Jazz with a Precision style neck on it with some Lakland flats and I have to say that playability wise it's right up there, sure the pups could be changed and speaking of which does anyone have any suggestions?, but outside of that it shouldn't really matter what it says on the headstock..it's how it feels when you play it. I love mine
14. well I've just had a couple of e-mails and it looks like it could be the case whereby the guy on gumtree is using the ebay sellers photo's. All should become clear in the next week Thanks for the help, and if not Glasgow here we come !!! Dave
15. No this was done before. I've notifed e-bay and also the seller and paypal, and requested the cash back via paypal..too good to be true
16. Hmmm, even more debatable is the fact that he had done a buy it now on an auction for £350 about an hour before it was re-listed (the auction which you won) and I bought it, he had said that as he was new to e-bay that he didn't have a clue what to do as I hadn't paid for it instantly and so re-listed.Probably realised that I may have the steal of the century Have paid by paypal so hopefully this will turn up shortly, and will let you know if it all goes pete tong..is it just a caae of reporting to e-bay and paypal if I have been scammed? Cheers Dave
17. The Jazz looks great, and guess what..you get to have an Overwater at a fraction of the price..yes it'll be mass produced to an extent..but isn't it right that everyone should get to try and be able to buy one of these and not for Overwater to stay, to some extent hidden, from the majority of bass players. I'm sure that some people will be annoyed or slightly peeved that Chris is doing this, but why the hell should they be...it's a perfect opportunity to branch out and create quality, playable and enjoyable basses for the mass market through Tanglewood's infrastructure I'm sure that they will be great basses, otherwise you would never see Overwater on the headstock and Chris is probably resting his reputation on this venture and we can all pester the wives for a new Christmas present!!! Good luck is what I say,and yes feel free to send one over to me Dave
