    Evening all, bought this a couple of months ago(300watt,8 ohm) and had an issue in that the tweeter got cracked in transit..the rest of the cab is in perfect condition and the tweeter is variable so you could just use it ( I think) as if it were a GS112 NT.[attachment=71064:IMGP0750.JPG][attachment=71067:IMGP0752.JPG] I was looking to get sorted but due to issues at home and some serious bills haven't been able to do so,and it seems to be going to waste so I am looking to move on at a good price, I've spoken with the Bass Cellar and they've said it's around £70 for a replacement. £180 including postage, will be packed very securely...I got plenty of bubblewrap! Could be interested in trades with regards to fx pedals - Micro Synth, Chorus etc Thanks Dave

    Thanks guys, I haven't heard it with it so couldn't really miss it..to get a replacement would cost around £70 - so says Alex from the Bass Gallery. Seller is now incommunicado...classic

    Me too, and yes an established member so it's a bit weird as everyone else I've dealt with has been great Hopefully it'll get resolved one way or another, but the thought of probably paying another £60 for a replacement tweeter almost puts it level with buying one new...huff and puff! To be honest with the lack of communication I didn't think it was going to turn up, but fingers crossed there's a genuine reason for not getting back to me and it can be settled. Dave

    Yeah I know...the horn section was split into about 4 pieces..it's held in place by two screws instead of the 4 but wasn't sure whether it would still operate fine..won't find out for a bit as my head is on it's way. The cab itself is fine so not sure how this has happened

    Hi all, just bought a DB112 and it's turned up and the tweeter is in pieces (the joys of DHL),I can't contact the seller but wanted to know if anyone has any ideas on how much a replacement would be (providing there was no insurance in place) and where the best place to get one would be. The other questions is really who uses them Thanks Dave

    I played it in a covers band years ago and it just thuds the root notes in the verses..I did funk it up a touch in the chorus but nothing outrageous..that songs is all about the guitarist (s)...weirdly enough. Love the song though,Devil Inside has got more of a groove going on!?!

    Some people loves Squiers on here, I'm playing a CV Jazz wth flatwounds on and I absolutely love it..a knife through butter! There are a few Squiers which will easily give Fender MIM's a run for their money. Think the best advice is to go and try some ! Good luck with the search Dave

    Shame they have to go,but good luck with the sales. How many basses have you got, surely you don't have to sell them all at once..might be best to spread the sales out as things may get better for you soon and you may look back and think why did I sell them all.
