  1. That quilted maple is bonkers. WOW. And then there is the price.! Seriously.??
  2. The Moon Jazz for sale on Bass Chat. Best Jazz bass you will play.
  3. Dont let this GB go for that Carl. Jeez. !!
  4. Any recommendations I can discover.? Think Christopher Cross etc.
  5. After all these years I liked Dire Straits and had never listened to this particular album until I heard this record on the radio. Everything I was doing stopped as what happens when I hear a great record. The whole album is just fantastic..
  6. Yeah all good. I dont have that instrument any more. I loved the spitfire but a Lakland 5594 outclasses it in many ways. Would love to see the P bass that you have acquired .?
  7. Im surprised this has not gone.. Deal with Carl with total confidence. I miss the Sei dude.
  8. No. I had this bass for a while and sold it on. Excellent it was though.
  9. Live in Madison Square Garden is just quite amazing..
  10. MetroLine limited with a sexy top... Only 100 made. Me like....... If they continue with these LTD edition Metro's I'm in big financial trouble because that is super bass sex right there. https://www.thomann.de/gb/sadowsky_metroline_21_5_ltd_wbts.htm
  11. That is a bargain. I got a TRB6 2 for 600 and that was a bargain. Awsome basses.
  12. Anyone know about this product or have one.? Seems there out of stock everywhere. Any alternatives.? https://www.musique-shop.fr/uk/roland-table-de-mixage-go-mixer-pro-pour-smartphone.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwnIr1BRAWEiwA6GpwNe0qIKlwZHBLeSnRi9eOQwwgGYC5W_g10j2G0IbGFn80vYd3jdcjURoCnv0QAvD_BwE
  13. Ive played a couple. They really are very good. Up there with the best boutique jazz basses.
  14. Oh man dont do it... These early 5594,s are so special. I have 1999 5594 Deluxe....The golden era of Lakland without a doubt. They dont offer 5594,s with the birdseye fret boards any more without a huge £ charge. That quilted maple is pretty insane also.. one of a kind proper Lakland 5594 you have there.
  15. Its got to be Fodera. They design such beautiful basses and then it looks like they have forgotten about the aesthetics of what the pattern of the preamps knobs will look like. Its a cluster x*"! of knobs that have no cohesive design when it comes to the rest of the body. I don't get it. Jens Ritter does an amazing job. But no, not Fodera. Maybe its substance over style.
  16. Now Devon basses never come up for sale.!!!
  17. I was probably a bit harsh on KS headstock. Its the string direction that gets me.
  18. Ive owned a MIJ 75 RI Non export Jazz 70,s spacing and an MIJ 60's Jazz. A huge difference.. Sometimes i think it was probably the winding of the pickups that added to the 75's aggressive tone.. Spacing maybe, but not as much as the windings of the pickup. I tried Lollars in it. Sounded lame.
  19. Can you describe the changes to the pickups/ preamp. The jack socket change etc.?
