  1. His playing on this is just utterly fantastic.
  2. I only wish I was as wise and mature to write something as kind and diplomatic as that. 👏👏
  3. Im looking at a budget 6 string and i spotted this. £479 from Thomann. If they fit I would be looking to put a Bartolini preamp and pickups in it.. Very much doubt it's an ebony fretboard. Love the body shape, it's an NT and they make a 7 string also. Has anyone played one. ? It's a BZ6000
  4. These are iconic Fender's and what a bargain.
  5. This Lozz.? It's not the music from the link but.? Impossible to tell from this..
  6. Hmm. Possibly obvious to some, but this.? Can someone make this music from AI. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/14KYBqWQsAv/
  7. A very dear friend of mine has recorded this music. He plays every instrument you hear on this record as he does on others..

  10. Please no one buy it before I can get this instrument back.!!!!! I've been looking for it for a while now.
  11. Always love the Donald with Marcus. 👏
  12. I love his solo on this classic. It's so very melodic. Then he sets it up..
  13. I'm not a huge fan of his slap all of the time. 3 Deuces is fantastic. Thankyou I will check those out.
  14. It occurred to me I had no idea who was playing bass on some of my favourite records. by my suprise I found out it was Marcus Miller. Thing is he's so under the radar session wise, you would never know it was him playing and in his session days that's what made him great. He just played it for the record. There are 500 albums out there of Marcus's playing. Please share if you know. ? One of my favourite Jazz funk records. Its utter magic and his bass playing is just.🔥
  15. Records like this are why I love soul house and funk. Superb playing from Mr Crampton...

  16. WOW. You never see these early TRBp,s with a quilted top ever especially in this condition. Really rare bass.
  17. The bass ball fat neck concernes me. I had a BB PJ and I sold it for that very reason. I owned a USA Lakland JO and the neck was just wow. Slim but flat back to front. What an incredible instrument that was. Need to try a Moon me thinks J. Amazing how the shape of a piece of wood changes your feelings towards expressing yourself.
  18. Jay you notice any difference between the slanted neck pickup to the JJ. ?
  19. Keep the foto flame ( if possible )and get it refinished/ lacquered by David Wilson. He sprayed my Atelier Z and it was superb.
