    Im after a 212 cab to go with my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2 and Lakland 5594. I used to have a an Aguilar GS212 that was amazing. So may look for one of those. Any other alternatives.? Cheers.

    Who is to say that different human ears dont perceive sound differently. If not, how are you going to prove it. ?

    Its just sublime and Steely Dan always take me by surprise no matter how many times I hear there albums .. Denny Dias/Elliot Randall on solo guitar, Chuck Rainey on bass, Bernard Purdie on drums. What a groove they lay down. 😮 imo.

    Was with my sister just coming into London and she puts this classic soul funk on from Maze . What a soul funk record it is. Robin Duhe's bass playing is just fantastic from start to finish.

    I watched this all the way through. Its just superb. Music that makes you dance. Of course Joes playing is such a joy to listen to, and just perfect groove playing.

    Can anyone recommend a longer allen key?. The keys i have dont reach the truss rod without hitting the fretboard design on this GB. Cheers.

    Ive owned a Sei Jazz 5 and they are stunning. Amazing build quality and the attention detail is astounding.

    Ive owned and played many Skyline 55-02,s 44-06 s 55-01 s. They have all been superb. Never a bad Lakland have i played. The best by far was an Indonesian made 5502 Deluxe. What a bass. USA lakland electronics and pickups..

    Thanks for the feedback. Well i wanted an unbiased opinion as ive been asked to join the band so yes some were right. 😆 I was asked to stand in last minute on these recordings because the other bass player had some personal issues, so thats my last minute playing. I was just playing as simple a bass line for the songs. Im still not sure as im not a fan of the vocals either. I have played live with them once. How do you tell someone there vocals arent up to scratch. Hmm.

    I can get lost in that song. Played on her 60's jazz. "My mother used to whore herself" Its a great start.😆 But an insite into Meshell's childhood. Like you say her touch and funky nuances on the bass are just fantastic with the keys near the end...

    Now I haven't listened to any Meshell for quite a long time. You might be aware I like her music from my avatar. I listened to it in the car today and Im still blown away how good it is. The lyrics, her incredible tight groove bass playing which is totally unique, you can tell its Meshell when she plays.. Everything about this album is just fantastic.. Good music stays with you and when you haven't heard it for a long time its even sweeter than the first time.
