Just blows me away every time. Ive listened to everything they have ever written, and I'm convinced they are the best soul funk band that have ever recorded that particular music.

I just wanted to show this everyone on BC because I think he deserves it. Hes a humble wise young guy and never told me about his recording's, album or YouTube videos. Hes 25 now but was younger when he recorded these of course in 2014. The music that we are creating is not like this but I just wanted to give props to him.. Hes super cool and talented.

Clever but why.??? Making a 4 string harder to play. Circus act.? The guy can play obviously. but its like he trying to YT famous for playing 60 string basses.

Im never going to be ready for it. Just like im never going to be ready for happy hardcore. Im never going to wait for that drop because I will be asleep.

Just to add I went to see(if I can call it that)Marcus Miller at the Cheltenham Jazz festival. Top price tickets at £30. All seated, so if you want to go to the toilet its getting past 10 people. Anyway I was so far away (at the back of these rows and rows of seats) I could hardly see him. Never go to a big seated gig. Bloody awful.

It depends on the people who are going. Some people don't mind roughing it. Its all about the friends who want to watch there bands. I dont like huge festivals. You can't really hear the music properly, its usually cold/raining. Audio wise I prefer a smaller venue.Although Mello was a great festival weather wise, was under a HUGE tent. And after a few pints I fell asleep like a corpse but waking up on the grass in a tent wasn't great mind. I went to the Jazz Cafe and watched Incognito on the balcony after some food and a glass of wine. That was way better.

Yes I've read this article. When I read The So Solid Crew influenced a lot of them, that solidified my opinion. This is only opinion of course.

Oh dear where do I start. I love HipHop, old/new/ gangster/funky/alternative /skate. Herbaliser, GangStarr, DJ Premier. Jurassic5 east coast, west coast, south north, Euro Rap. really interesting samples, scratching, amazing subject matter etc etc... But Grime. Its like they have got a Casio keyboard and a drum machine and then rapped over it.Its sooooo boring. Is Grime a UK thing.? I hear Capital One at work and its literally all they play. I feel like smashing the radio with a claw hammer after 3 hours of it.

When I say these guys are talented its an understatement. The guy on the left is just the best of the best drummers, ex session guy from London. Has to be heard to be believed as to how good he is... Far right is the lead guitarist from Dublin. Fantastic, into his Snarky Puppy etc. The guy in green is the multi talented play keys from his MacBook crazy guitar vocalist etc etc. Then there is the Bubingagroovebooster on bass with backing vocals. To be honest I was loosing faith in finding other musicians who love the same music as me. But here we are 6 months down the line. The music is all original. its latin rock jazzy funk.The thing is its just SUPER tight. We will go over a song 20 times. I told Dan that we need to go over and over it until it becomes more than perfect.. It becomes natural. I got that philosophy from Steely Dan and it works. We rehearse for 6/7 hours twice a week. Im very excited about this music/these guys. Got our own studio that we rent and are putting in a booth and PA etc. Just when I had lost hope in finding a band. Its a strange world.!

Do you mean a hardcase that is soft or a gig bag. ? If the soft hardcase Sadowsky do a great one. Gig bag.... Mono. I have an M80 and its superb.

I don't want to offend anyone who plays a Ricky, (but im probably going to). The only reason I can think anyone plays one is because their musical heroes did and it has THAT tone on those records...I played a 4003 a few months ago and I just thought. HHmmm over £2000 for this heavy bass that the strings are rattling on the pointless pup cover when you dig in. Really uncomfortable instrument to play imo.. If someone made a bass now as Rickenbacker does without its heritage and songs that its been on. , im thinking knowone would pay much attention to it. Especially at the prices he or his son is asking. But they be riding that cash wave. You can probably tell I dont like Rickenbacker's.
