1. Hmm i'd go Warwick i'm afraid. Whilst the Spectors are very good - I think the German made Corvette has the upper hand on material.
2. Agreed - mine keeps its pickguard on at all times, it's only polite.
3. Hmm I remember that too, can't find it at all.
4. Argh - it looks like my Jazz and makes me angry . Does look a very amateur and poorly thought operation...
5. Thank god for that - I was getting fedup of seeing it .
6. I already did an IP search and there were no other matches .
7. Ah yes - sounds like I expected. Very very nice..
8. There may be trouble ahead... I wonder which basschatter she is referring to...
9. Looks tasty - a little mojo'd too. Recordings ?
10. Aah man that sucks - I hated Jonny Roadhouse and the SoundControl - sounds like it would have been decent.
11. Yeah nice - i'd prefer it with a MM on the bridge though.
12.
ADEY......will now be moving to...MUSIC GROUND.. OXFORD RD..MANCHESTER.(across from the BBC)
Is musicground new ? It was never there when I lived on Oxford Road .
13. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=005 This went for a ridiculous price - can't believe there was no reserve on it .
14. Just to be extremely pedantic - the MAG115-300 is just a MAG115, it the combo that's named MAG115-300. Does it have the old or new style grille ? What price on the cab alone ?
15. This picture summarises lovely:
16. I'd try www.guitaremporium.co.uk - might not be listed but email him and ask.
17. I usually practise into my V-Amp - mainly to not disturb anyone. I find the tone through it to be reasonably close enough to what I get live as long as I run my EQ flat.
18.
But that's my bass! Hehe, it's awesome - through the right amp.
I'll be looking up your address in basschat 'Big Brother' database .
19. Myung has had it for a couple of months I think. EB made it for him but there is no endorsing or contract from either side. It will go into production next year I reckon... There is a very long thread about it here, but tells you everything: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-...o-6-update.html
20. I fancy a Warwick, then again I would come into the metalhead/rock category. An Infinity SN5 in Zebrano would be lovely...
21. Good review ! I have an EB180-12 running into a MAG210 cab which isn't far off the MAG combo really - the head is identical bar it's output rating and colour. The cab is indeed front heavy and is a major pain up and down my narrow stairs - but it's not really any heavier than other amps in the same range. I use the VU meter more for getting the right signal into the DI (since the XLR socket is post EQ). Having it clip at no more than 0dB helps the soundman a fair bit. I generally have the EQ flat, maybe a slight 220Hz boost depending on the room.
22. Yeah they are awesome - however he does look in a bit of a strange posture.. hmmm..
23. Worry not I have issues too (i'm 24). I find I learn songs ok - but forget them easily within a few weeks if I don't play them. At a recent gig I murdered Pantera - Cemetary Gates with some awful bits i'd forgotten.
24. Posting this for Bernmeister - please do not PM me regarding this . For sale my trusty well looked after Swr 2x10 cab. Only for sale as I now use their 8ohm versions. In very good condition for its age, it has the soft cloth front grille, with wooden struts down the front to protect the centre of the drivers. The grille frame can be removed, to show the drivers uncovered or so that the grille cover can be replaced. The cab is approx 45-50lbs in weight & has only banana plug connection on the rear, but I have an obbm made 1m length banana – speakon cable available if required for a small additional cost . Oh must mention that the circle shown on the picture of the rear of the cab is mark made by my camera & is definitely “not” on the cab. Would prefer to meet on most of the service stations nearest the Birmingham area or I can send as I have an Swr 2x10 box I can send it in for around £20 p&p. Thanks for looking. Bernie.
