1.
Mine arrived looking like it's been kicked around a sorting-office floor and possibly reversed over by an artic. The spine's been broken in about 5 places and I'm not impressed.
Not possible - the sorting offices have been empty.
2. I went through a 6 string phase, then realised I had no real need for it. I get on just fine with a 4.
3. I use D'Addario Prosteels on my RBX775, but I am going for a modern fretless sound. Flatwounds will give you an upright vibe for sure..
4. These guys (and gals) are also pro's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BF4YdyUeSIk
5. Can't beat natural finish with black pickguard .
6. I go for the solid rock category too, occasional melodic fills and a few slapping interludes.
7. W H Smith usually has it - look very carefully, it's always behind something like Oboe Weekly and Sitar Times .

9. Eww Telesales, i'd rather mop out drains than do that.
10. I'll stick to the one pint to relax me a bit, any more and I just lose my edge and screw up alot.
11. Just spotted these - looks interesting. I wonder if the 64 or 84 would suit me best...
12. They're fantastic looking basses - can't wait to see one in the erm, grain ? Any idea on price ?
13. I still think you should buy me some pickups for my Jazz . On a more serious note - I reckon the Behringer compressor would probably be ok. You could always order it and if it sucks send it back within 7 days.
14. GAK have just listed their whole range by the looks of it.

16. Nice idea - shame it looks pants. If it was all zebrawood it might work...
17. How much did that cost you ? Never seen one for sale..
18. It says that they're Alder which really does shock me, I was expecting some variety of chipboard. See here for full specs: http://www.wesleyguitars.co.uk/storefrontp...amp;i=231364992
19. Let's see some pics ! As for the weight - I can't see it being 12lbs - my Stingray comes up as 9lbs and my Dads all mahogany Les Paul the same. Isn't the VM Jazz soft maple ?
20. Sucks about losing the JM - though the price should come down a bit for a new one now he's using Musicman. And nice stand for the Ironbird .
21. Looks like they share some features Staggs do - possibly from same factory ? I'd say as a cheap backup bass you can't go wrong. As a main instrument ? No thanks. EDIT: I'd fancy this though.. kind of a Jaguar meets Stingray.
