Do be doo doo: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=2677 Shame on you machines!
I figured someone would have put it up already but didn't expect it to be in Off-Topic . Oh wait... I moderate that forum and should have spotted it....
2. That's a killer price on the BTB just when i'm after one - but my wallet won't allow it .
3. Quite possibly one of the greatest bass moments, ever.
4. I find 4's the least 'effort' to slap on. Have had a 5/6 string too - could be done but found I had to concentrate alot more.

6.
of the liveearth thing that i did watch i noticed that one of the P basses that the bassist in fall out boy had was a Squire, very strange to see a budget bass on the big stage.
Pete Wentz has a Squier signature Precision - that's why he was using it. 8. Yeah it works well and looks snazzy. Although I would like to complain about the fingerprint/marks on the left of the pictured Jazz
9. Super video - makes it look so effortless. Congratulations on the endorsement .
10.
Hmm Haywards Heath To Manchester..err no.
Unfortunately bass shows aren't very common - you can't expect them to be on your doorstep, if you do I doubt you'll ever get to one.
11. This week: Marcus Miller Jazz (a reoccuring GAS item since I started playing bass) Ibanez BTB555 Ashdown ABM500 Ashdown MAG115

Oh, God

Looks a bit tatty ! I'd want a discount for all those scratches.
13. I find BGM to be a fantastic read, albeit a little short. This is probably more quality over quantity however - which cannot be criticised. The reviews I find do tend to air towards higher end gear - then again I don't get every issue and might be missing the budget reviews. The interviews are superb - some top names have been in there and have always been a great insight.
14.
Matt, maybe its time to have a seperate ebay forum? I'm getting a little tired of policing the above type of thread. We all know there is charlatans on ebay, its great that we shoull identify them to protect the inexperienced and those with certifiable GAS, but the constant slagging off of folks errors, and niaivity is a little tiring..... I'll post my suggetsion below......
I was being sarcastic - you'll notice I have made a similar post only yesterday .
15.
Well my experience of the Ashdown practice amps is that they're unreliable - Having had two break on me in the same day!
I've heard other people question their reliability. However I know several people who heavily gig their MAG's and have no issues what so ever, my EB also hasn't given my any issues.
16. Super stuff - I was feeling the vibe after about 5 seconds. Jamersons lines are beautifully understated, and that Precision thump is wonderful.
17. Sheesh, people ranting about eBay listings - so full of anger ! ^_^
18. CK stole my idea - Sandberg are fantastic value for money. I've played a few of them now and always been impressed.
19. The impression I get is that the Highway one finishes aren't as resiliant as the high gloss ones. They look very susceptible to dings and scratches to me. Rayman has a H1 Jazz and i'm sure could tell you properly.
20. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=140134640026 I had to email them here - you can buy one new for £139 on gak .
21. Hmm to be fair it might be just cosmetic. The messy routing is under the pickguard and won't be seen, although it is extremely bad. But no - I wouldn't buy it.
22. My opinion is you won't get the B string sounding great on any 'small' practise amp. I've had the Ashdown Five Fifteen (bigger brother to the Perfect 10) and that was fine (but was 65w). I suppose i'd choose the Ashdown out of those 2 - but I am biased.
