The cab will only use it's full power at 4ohms, which means it needs an additional cab hooked up. At 8ohms (on its own) it will develop around 120w.
As an upgrade from a 100w Rumble it probably isn't worth it...
(Honesty sucks sometimes).
I generally set my EQ flat and work from there. For my basses it's usually:
Stingray:
Bass: 5
Low Mid: 7
Mid: 5
High Mid: 7
Treble: 5
(With bass/high boost switches enabled)
Jazz:
Bass: 5
Low Mid: 5
Mid: 6
High Mid: 7
Treble: 7
(With bass/high boost switches enabled)
I've no idea why i'm posting here since it's a bassists forum but oh well !
I'm 24 and seeking a funk/rock/metal (i'm not fussy) band for light hearted fun.
No mega serious "we think we'll be famous" bands please. Covers bands considered also.
I've decent gear and my own transport..
Email machinesofhate at blueyonder dot co dot uk (work it out).
