2. Add this to your post Mrs. T

3. I also detailed my process 1. Cut the Velcro how you want, peel off the back and slap on the bottom of the pedal. 2. Whack it on the board 3. Done.
4. Less is more with that stuff. If you've got a Boss size pedal don't cover the bottom in that Velcro, it'll be a right pain to get off again.
5.
Question: - I'm compiling my first proper board (photos to follow), have bought a Stagg cheapie-thingie, velcroed the pedals down, BUT the velcro to the board is stronger than the glue to the pedals, so the pedals aren't staying in place when I move it. Any tips? Any recommended velcro with acme ultra-glue? Cheers
7. Loving Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas' bass lines on the Mute Math albums. I ordered their live album the other week and have been thoroughly enjoying it since it arrived the other day.
8. I want Higgies flanger type bump.
9.
Check out CODA http://www.myspace.com/codamusicuk
This is going OT but enjoyed that, good shout.
10. Do you know if the Diago 18v adaptor would be appropriate?
11. I've been tempted by a phase 45, not sure if the difference but that and my phase 90 will be that much of an issue though.
12. It's a great design. My Stingray is the only bass I have which isn't a pain in the arse to adjust.
13. That is an absolute icon of a bass you have there. Little bit jealous.
14. Sold FS/FT Boomstick Bottom Feeder. It's in fantastic condition, the marks you see on the paintwork in the photo is the glitter in the finish. Velcro on the bottom. It's a MXR size box with two knobs, input, output and 9 volt power input jobbie. Also takes a battery. Pretty standard affair. I bought this from Monz earlier in the year. Tayste_2000 left quite a bit of info about the pedal on the original thread so here's a c&p (hope he doesn't mind):
Ok so here is some background on these pedals: The Boomstick Bottom feeder made under the Boomstick brand for a while before moving to Mojohand range as the 442 red where previous to all this it had been the Tone Factor 442 Red, these pedals were actually made for me when I asked for a 442 that was better on bass so a few mods were made and one of the best simple filters was born, I 2nd this pedal only to my Subdecay Prometheus but that's a very heft pedal and can be difficult to figure out this one is very simple and sounds like this http://www.grygrx.net/Pedal%20Reviews/Tone.../442%20Slap.mp3 http://www.grygrx.net/Pedal%20Reviews/Tone...42/TF%20442.mp3 http://www.grygrx.net/Pedal%20Reviews/Tone...k%20Sparkle.mp3 Enjoy
There's a couple of these floating about in the marketplace at the mo so I'll match the cheapest price at £50 posted (£55 if you're not mainland UK). I'm also after a few bits so open to trades on the following: Keeley Fuzz Head Blue Bird Tremolo Boss OC-2 Fulltone Bass Drive Crowther Hotcake Maybe some other fancy fuzz/dist (not digital) Cheers. EDIT: should probably add that it's a filter pedal.
15. "What’s that Mr. Promoter; you want me to supply my backline for the other bands? …..Oh bugger, all of a sudden I won't be able to get my amp to the venue, I'll be using my SansAmp DI thingy-ma-jig instead and going straight to the desk. Sorry, but at least your sound man will be happy!" - That's pretty much my response.
16. Playing along with some Townes Van Zandt at the mo.
17.
...but seriously there £1400 + now..
There was one in GAK at the weekend, natural/rosewood that was just shy of £2k.
18. The early 90s Stingrays are cracking basses. Love the colour as well.
19.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBPln1afUOU
I really enjoyed that video, great playing and a lovely bass. Best of luck with the sale, Geert.
20. I love them, they're quite unique. Sadly mine isn't seeming much action these days since the originals band stopped. Check the bands myspace (Without Warrant, link below in sig), the first 6 tracks on there were recorded with a Gibson Thunderbird.
21.
Bass Direct will ship to Ireland and his prices are very reasonable. Mark stocks a huge amount of high end equipment and is very helpful when it comes to finding the right thing for your requirements. Check them out… http://www.bassdirect.co.uk
+1 on that, Mark's got a second hand LMII on there which would be worth a look.
22. I ordered a Celestion G12H last night for my guitar amp. I fudged the last one when I got a bit too adventurous with swells on the delay pedal. Oops!
