1. It looks awesome, those Moog pedals ain't sheep either. Worth the extra?
2. The size of the reminds me or Finbars old board.
3. Why is there no Boogie love at the moment? These really are amazing amps, if I didn't have a 400+............
4. Sold, thanks for all the interest
5. I bought this to put on my 75RI Jap Jazz but I prefer the white one. So it's never been fitted, just taken out of the packaging once or twice. Looks just like this: Here's the WD blurb: Shiny 3 ply black/white/black material. 2.5mm thick. With 45 degree bevel edge. Please note that this pickguard is designed to fit USA made Fender 70's vintage re-issue instruments and will not fit other models/makes of basses. And the link to the WD site. SOLD EDIT: This may seem a bit obvious but I just wanted to be clear; this is not a vintage pickguard. It's brand new to fit a vintage reissue Jazz bass.
6.
My Ray is 5/6/90 honey sunburst too, although with a 3 band eq and a bullet truss, i would have thought yours was older than mine http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=108869
Cheers Chris, cracking basses hey? Bump - Still available at the mo.
7. I’ve had a few offers and some interesting trade offers on this. I’m not really looking for another bass at the moment so would prefer a sale. The price is open to negotiation as well.
8.
I want! But i just got a Teal one, sounds like it was setup by Graham Wheeler. Should play amazing, he is one of the best! Good luck with the sale.
That's the chap. Nice guy, does the job very well indeed.
9. I bought a pedal from James, top guy to deal with.
10. Weighing in at 4Kg (8.8 pounds) and 19 years old we have an all-original honey sunburst, 2 band EQ Music Man Sting Ray. SOLD no trades, I need a straight sale. I bought this bass from Andertons a few years back. Apparently a guy had traded it in for a Warwick a day or two before. Since I've owned it it’s had a few gigs and been looked after well. I had it set-up about 3 years ago by a chap called Graham in Washington, West Sussex. As a result the action is great and it’s a joy to play. I haven’t had to alter the action at all except for the occasional tweak to the neck. The bass also spent 6 months with another basschat member after I sold it and then bought it back (it really is that good) I've looked over the bass really thoroughly and there are a couple of small dings and I’ve got some good snaps of them. I emailed Music Man customer services to find out the date of manufacture which is: 5/6/91. The bass comes with a non-Music Man hard case. I live in the Horsham area of West Sussex and anyone is more than welcome to come and have a play. If I can find a suitable box and packing I’m happy to ship, should be an additional £10. I’m also happy to travel around the South East if you want to meet half way. I've got loads additional pictures to the one below, feel free to PM me and I'll shoot them over in an email. Thanks, Alex.
11.
I was under the impression that the 'boost' on these was volume rather than a gain/fuzzy boost? Or did I misunderstand that? The Fulltone would be my first choice if it's what I'm after...
I've had both in the past, if I remember correctly they're both a gain boost (don't quote me on that). Try one if you can, I'm after a Fulltone again at some point (should never had sold mine). If you get one and it's not what you're after then they always sell well.
12. Seems a bit obvious but the Fulltone Bass Drive and the T-Rex Bass Juice both have OD and boost operated by separate foot switches. Might not be what you're after though.
13. I have 1 amp 1 cab and 1 combo.

16. Add this to your post Mrs. T

17. I also detailed my process 1. Cut the Velcro how you want, peel off the back and slap on the bottom of the pedal. 2. Whack it on the board 3. Done.
18. Less is more with that stuff. If you've got a Boss size pedal don't cover the bottom in that Velcro, it'll be a right pain to get off again.
19.
Question: - I'm compiling my first proper board (photos to follow), have bought a Stagg cheapie-thingie, velcroed the pedals down, BUT the velcro to the board is stronger than the glue to the pedals, so the pedals aren't staying in place when I move it. Any tips? Any recommended velcro with acme ultra-glue? Cheers
20. Loving Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas' bass lines on the Mute Math albums. I ordered their live album the other week and have been thoroughly enjoying it since it arrived the other day.
21. I want Higgies flanger type bump.

23. Do you know if the Diago 18v adaptor would be appropriate?
24. How is the flanger powered, Higgie?
