1. Hi, I have acquired a Vintage Musicman copy that I have painted and am renovating. I'm at the point where the pots need rewiring and boy are they a mess Using the pics I've taken can anyone hazard a guess where the wires go please? What I do know is that before I cut them off, the grey/white goes to the centre terminal on the pot shown, the green was attached to the pot case as an earth with the braided earth stuff, the red black didn't seem to be attached to anything. It did play though when I got it. Any help putting it back together would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Tom. (PS I only know Fenders)
2. I did the capri orange about the same time, I polished it and someone on here has the body now. Since then I have done 3 more, 1 yellow, and two red ones using car plan aerosols, they are fantastic for coverage and cost about 4n quid each. I can do one bass with half a can. Finish is excellent and polishes up great.
3. Reduced to 50 quid delivered, bargin!
4. Rather hang on for now, may do later.
5. Hi all, I have for sale a Marshall Vibratrem and a Regenerator, both in excellent condition. Also there a Marshall power supply that can power 6+ pedals. There are about 6 Marshall leads to and a daisy chain pedal connector. REDUCED TO £50 DELIVERED! All this:
6. Bought a pickup from Tony, excellent comms, friendly emails, very easy transaction. Can't get better than that. Many thanks.
7. I can't buy another just yet Bob
8. Bought a fabulous 60th P from Bob and once again a faultless transaction, paid one day got it the next. It's the law, this is how it's done. Many many thanks again young Bob. (Ever thought about taking up fishing? )
9. I ordered another P bass loom and it arrived the next day as usual. Top service, top man, top marks. As usual thanks young John
10. Sad to hear that Bob but I totally understand. You have some fabulous gear which I'm sure won't be around long. GLWTS. (Going to see if I have enough for this)
11. Has anyone successfully made a decent bass using a cheap plywood body? Reason for asking is that I've just bought a Legend P bass for buttons with a fabulous maple neck & board and a ply body. The pickup is surprisingly good and punchy but the loom is [s]sh [/s]err poor but I can fix that. I was going to paint it some outlandish colour for a backup bass. /discuss
12. Oo'er that's nice Karl. If it had a maple board you'd be on yer way here
13. Thanks for that, I'm looking into it.
14. Hiya, needs to be light, my better half is a local preacher and some of the small country churches are stone built so don't reflect very well, my wife is quietly spoken and the congregations are small, old and a bit deef so a small, easy to carry voice combo would fit the bill. Anyone else in this situation? have you found a solution? Would this work? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roland-Cube-Lite-Guitar-Amplifier-with-Apple-iOS-Interface-White-NEW/310697750114?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D18217%26meid%3D2528096125330377173%26pid%3D100005%26prg% 3D8342%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D231077629390%26 Thanks for any help or advice. Tom.
15. Nice bass Rob, I have both FSR's, Jazz & P. Cannot fault them.
16. 3rd harness arrived today, quick as you like as usual The trouble is you start to expect this level of service from everyone and I get so disappointed Keep up the good work John, and keep your batteries charged too! cheers mate, Tom.
17. Ok £90 posted or it's getting broken for spares, shame as it's a decent bass.
18. Just listened to whiskey in the jar Karl, excellent playing by one and all (who's the manic bugger on bass?)
