5. Is there a way to clean or polish off the scuff & string marks off an ebonol neck please? It's not terrible but it is a bit unsightly. Thanks.

7.
Thanks again chaps. If this one isn't going to move, doesn't matter too much. I can put it up a bit cheaper in a years time when I won't think I'm losing quite as much . In the meantime I may put my Glaub up instead.
I see you're from the 'Tom Anderson school of emolumentary logic' I think there is about 3 of us now (Why do I keep looking at this bass slobber )
8. Karl, I hope you've had the offending cymbal beaten to death? (There's a pun or two in there somewhere?)

18. I know, he's funny isn't he? Oh, err, bump too!
19. Exactly as Mike says. This is a great bass that deserves a good home. I hesitate to say it plays like butter because to me that means it's sticky and hard to get off your fingers Great player though. GLWTS.
20. Thanks for the input, I didn't realise about the recording forum  I'll go away and see where the links take me. Thanks again.
21. Hiya, I'm thinking I'd like to try and make some music tracks using my PC. I know it's a big subject and I know you can buy software that needs no instruments but we have here, 6 & 12 string guitars, electric guitar, bass, mandolin, keyboards and other more basic stuff and I'd like to use it to record on the PC. Sooooo.... What do I realistically need to get started? What interfaces for the instruments? Cheap (or free) basic, easy to follow software with effects etc'? Any help and advice gratefully received. thanks.
22. Precision all the way for me now. I made the mistake of buying lots of basses to try and find what suited me as a new player (I played 12 string guitar for 45 years until I got arthur-ritis) Circumstances meant that I had to stop playing guitar but then the bass player moved south so we were left without and it was suggested that I 'learned' to play one, yeah just like that! I knew nothing about them at all so I went on a voyage of discovery and bought and sold loads of them not really having a clue. Anyway I found that a Precision is what suits me best for my limited ability. It has simple, easy to adjust controls and a thud that I find very satisfying so I have a couple of them.
