1. dunno who he is >.< gimme a clue and i shall check him out
2. would be nice if the singer put a bit more effort into trying to hit the notes instead of just asking the band to change to suit her
3.
Bb! Love the key and if you have ever played with a horn section you will know it well Just to clear my own ignorance, why do you have to de-tune?
because the guitarist said so
4. slinkys for me tried loads of others but these seem to be the best all rounder ive used so far ..
5. bought my daughter one its ok very very light, sounds ok to me no issues with it at all i dont like to play it though since she put pink strings on it and a fluffy pink strap and takes a photo of me everytime i pick it up then posts it on facebook
6. should be ok with a cheap router with a good sharp bit as said titman are great dont be fooled by the marketing of some manufacturers like trend and dont rush into machining your body make a few jigs and run off off some scrap before going for the money shot (cheap cutters will be naff after running a few trial and error bodies) and get plenty of sand paper if you get the copy wheel with the bearing near the collet you can use the same cutter for pick ups etc and save a few quid there only a fiver ish to have sharpened
7.
Ah, so maybe not within price range after all :-) it's a lovely bass
would have gone for that price if it hadnt hung around for so long others have sold for around that price
8. gotta say you get a lot for your money with any ibanez even more so second hand, the atk sale thats been linked is mine it never made it to ebay i picked it up played it and thought it was worth way more than the current value so decided to keep it
9. nice i like that especialy being able to solo the bass as my ears dont work so well with the guitarist widdling
10. all i found in my loft was 6 old windows and the old stair case some guys get all the luck
11. watched a tv show about chas and dave the other night and daves bass had some serious wear but i think he spent most of his 40 years on the road with it so its to be expected i guess, i had a hole apearing in my sr505 just below the g string where i kept catching the grain of the wood with my nail popping notes but all my other bases are in good nick and i hope they stay that way as for road worn it reminds me of that horrible pop band bros ripping holes in their jeans becauuse at the time some thought it looked cool >.<
12.
From the man himself...
awesome that opened my eyes thanks
13. savings account linked to main account monthly transfer you cant spend the money unless you log in or phone up to transfer it back works for me once the monies out of my current account i dont spend it Edit no idea of any that do layaway most offer 0% credit for short term with that theres a legal contract involved so neither party should lose out

15.
I was expecting to see a R*ck*nb*ck*r...
i prefer the look of that bottle to a bass that must not be named
16. thinking of sticking one of the above on my ray 35 but in need of some facts first. the fretboard looks plastic is it ? does it feel ok to play on ? does the back of the neck get sticky ? and what difference in the sound ? and are they easy to fit ?

18. the two guys in the shop on saturday switched the lights on for me said to let them know if i wanted to try anything seemed open to me but who knows what management had in store Edit wifey just told me she was given the impression that the basses were to be sold off and not restocked because they dont sell ... especialy when you have to climb over disco lights to see them
19.
Just found out they have officially ceased trading. It never looked good at that silly warehouse full of disco equipment next to IKEA. It was a far cry from the Essex place. What a shame; I liked the guy who ran it.
they have ? i popped in there this saturday just gone, wasnt much to look at maybe 25 basses most of which had disco lights stacked in front of them but they seemed to be trading although i feel guitars werent really their thing
20. gotta be the feel for me before tone, roto's amongst others seem to grip my plucking fingers slowing them down making my timing even worse (probably wouldnt if i was used to them)
