1. Sold an EBS 212 cabinet to ferenc - Like others above I was a bit dubious of dealing outside the UK but Ferenc paid quickly and made the whole business very easy. very good communications throughout. Interesting thing. If you're sending him something, look up his address on google streetview and spin around; There's a SPAR store right behind you. Not what i was expecting

feedback for unol

Sold Unol an EBS 212 cab and he was a pleasure to deal with. Was happy to work through a problem rather than just send the cab back. top bloke.
3. This is my feedback page.
4. YES are currently onto the second singer they've stolen from a tribute act and I guess, in the 80's most of the 'real' lineup toured as a YES tribute act under the name ABWH
5. THIS AMP IS NOW WINGING IT'S WAY to WALES. HOPE THE NEW OWNER WILL BE VERY HAPPY> I'm selling my Mesa Boogie Titan V12 Bass amp. This Monster puts out 1200 watts at 4 or 2 ohms This is easily the best and most versatile Bass amp I've owned. It will provide 1200 watts at 4ohms so it's perfect for a big stage using a pair of 8 ohm speaker cabs. There are two seperate channels, each providing a full range of features such as overdrive, gains, bass / middle / treble and Solo (adds a volume boost whenever you need to show the guitarid who's boss). You can run two seperate instruments and switch between the two OR you can plug in one instrument and switch channels for two totally different tones. It will come with the 5 position footswitch (input select / channel select/ overdrive on-off/ solo on-off/ mute) plus the 7 pin Din cable required to connect it. The early silver faced versions of this amp were lknown to have a thermal cut out issue. This happened to me once but that was one time too often so I had it refurbished at Mesa's Petaluma california factory last July (2012) under warranty (through westside distribution Glasgow). Specifically, they changed the housing to a fully ventilated one, Added a second fan and changed to a more efficient power supply. Since getting it back it's not cut out once in twelve months - running pretty loud for 3 one hour sets at a time - so I'd say that problem has been well and truly fixed - Mesa recommend giving it at least 4 inches above and behind and It takes up 3 rack spaces and I was using it in a 6 space gator rack to provide plenty airflow. Price dropped to £800.00 plus carriage No longer interested in trades as I'm about to take delivery of a shiny new Mpulse 600 New, this amp would cost around £2000 if it was still in production so I'm looking for offers around £900. I'd prefer collection from Broxburn, West Lothian but I'll also consider posting it - standard courier estimates are around £15 (parcel force are double that). 6. here's my current rig.. Mesa titan V12. PH 212. PH 210... The titan's on evilbay but it'll appear on this website if it doesn't sell by sunday. Looking to replace it with an M9 carbine.
7. I have a Kelly dragonfly that sounds great acoustically although the B string is a bit quiet compared to the rest. Again, electrically the E A D and G strings come across well but the B string barely gets picked up . Overall though the bass feels and plays great with labella deep talkin flats. took a bit of effort to get the action right when I first got it but it's stayed pretty solid for a good few years now.
8. My turn. My Mesa rig .. Titan V12 . 212 powerhouse and 210 powerhouse. 1200 watts of nonesense The Titan is on evilbay at the mo though. I'm lusting after an M9 carbine but the new 400 watt all tube amp has caught my attention this week too.
9. Hutch hutchinson was playing a candy red bass that might have been one of these at the bonnie raitt gig in glasgow last month. I thought it might have been a jaguar but there's not much between the shapes.
10.
If Warwick are the only manufacturer to offer an adjustable nut (even in their budget series), then I imagine they must have trademarked the design.
Alembic invented the adjustable nut back in the early 70's. Warwick pretty much ripped off the design.
11. Forgot to mention I'm not interested in any trades (unless someone wants to swap for a Mesa M9 carbine )
12. Both Now Sold. Thanks . Only one of these cabs is left. This one had a slight buzz in one of the drivers so I've just replaced it with a 400watt eminence delta. tested it out this afternoon and it sounds great. As it's now only half an EBS neo 212 I'm dropping the price to £300 or reasonable offers . Postage will be around £20 or collect from Broxburn west lothian Selling a pair of EBS NEO 212 speaker cabs that I've had for a few years. Drivers are in perfect condition. These speakers sound fantastic and are easy to lift having Neo drivers. 4 ohm 600watts here are the specs from the ebs site... Frequency Response 40 - 18k Hz Sensitivity 103 dB Power Rating 600 W RMS Impedance 4 ohms Volume 103 liters Height 61 cm / 24" Width 58 cm / 23" Depth 44 cm / 17" Weight 24 kg / 53 lbs Looking for £350 each. I'd prefer collection (from west lothian) but I'm prepared to arrange a courier at buyers expense - I reckon around £20 each cab. few pics ...note - it's just the speaker cabs :-) P.M. me if interested One of these is now sold. The other one has a buzz in one driver so I'm replacing it but it isn't an EBS NEO driver so the price has been reduced to £300 + postage.
13. Sounds pretty similar to the last album to me. Can anyone say 'stuck in a science fiction rut'?
14. My 'gigging' basses regardless of where the gig is are my fretted and fretless Alembics. Not much point having them if I wasn't going to use them.
15. There's no doubt she's had an incredible career but she certainly has some very odd notions. A couple of times she's stated that she sets her bass up with the bridge saddles pulled all the way back claiming that it makes absolutely no difference to the intonation of the bass. I've tried this and it sounds like sh*t.
