I've seen them a few times before and they put everything in to their performance, 90 minutes of non stop heavy metal energy until they leave the stage looking exhausted. Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons in the Cheese and Grain, Frome last night. They played a tribute to Motorhead to celebrate 50 years since the start of the band. With Phil being Motorheads guitarist from 1984 to the end in 2015, he knew exactly how to do it right. I've seen a few Motorhead tributes but none that came close to this. The singer didn't try to sound like Lemmy but did a great job. Trying to sound like another singer never goes well. They played some greatest hits plus some they rarely performed and one Motorhead never played live. The support act, King Creature were great as well, last time i saw them was supporting Motorhead. An excellent night.
