Does it do bridged to 4 ohm? 1200w in what circumstance?
I will double check when I have time after work. It does do bridged but I don't know what into till I check but stereo 600w @ 4 ohms (per side). I also believe that it will go to 750w @ 2 ohms but I've never tried it as it has only ever driven our HiSys 2's from new. It is a true 1200w rms amp not some obscure rating or at some silly ohmage.

Looks like the one below. price ... £25 You guessed it £50 for the pair! all postage to be covered by the buyer. both the case and the EQ are in good working condition and will be a handy addition to someone's rig / PA.
Just curious, looking at the specs on these things they look to be great, ive just looked at their 2x15 cab, which i really like the look of, but ive never heard a one. Anyone used their cabs? recommend them?? what's their sound like? reliability??
Do a quick search and you'll find these were discussed at length a year or so ago. The 1x12 cab was featured in a Bassist mag shootout along with Bergantino/Aguilar etc. iirc it did well. 'Quite' similar in spec to the Tech Soundsystem/Tecamp cabs but cheaper!
Hi, does anybody know the weight of a standard Squier Jazz Bass? Had a look on the Squier website but no joy.
If it's any help the 'Classic Vibe' I just had was 9lb 9oz... not sure about the standard.

Oh dear... I managed to guess their password and log onto that account in under 5 seconds! If it isn't a hacked account and that is a genuine listing I'll be stunned. -
£140. Good sounding cab, especially for rock if you're not worried about having low end or can add a 15". Bought 2nd hand and was told that this is an early version so has better quality units than Warwick put in these days. Only selling because I need more of a jazz sound and I'm currently looking for a Mark Bass 1X12. Will add a photo real soon.
You'll maybe have a bit more luck if you put it in the sale section mate.
Well I am very proud to say I have just won Dave Wilson's Black Metro via E-bay..... How am I going to get this one past her indoors!!!!!!!!! Looks like I better start recouping from selling some of my collection!

haha, I was watching that Metro bass as well ... was hoping that it wouldn't sell so that I could try one (which I am tomorrow) and purchase privately from him! ah well
Ouch... that'll hurt Dave by the time he takes off the fees! Just to counter what a few people have said; that they've bought and subsequently sold their Sado's and that the prices aren't justified etc. I have to say as someone on a quest for a light-weight quality bass, who must have bought and sold a dozen basses this year alone, now that I have it and I've gigged it a bit, I'd not sell my Sado PJ @ ANY price.
Rubber car footwell mat Cheap as chips
+1 I had my MB heads 'almost' bounce right off my cabs the first time I gigged them but luckily I'd rigged them the same as Alex suggested (lead looped through cab and amp handles) so I managed to avert a floor impact. As it happens they didn't stick around long enough for me to utilise a rubber mat. -
I've owned a brace of Euro's (inc a 5) and played a pair of NS basses and the NS basses were certainly better BUT not twice as good; No! However, you do have to consider that after a certain price point you don't get twice as good or even better, you just get... 'different'

TBH if you are insisting on sticking with a 4x?? cab then I'd say it'd be too much weight for someone with a knackered back NO MATTER who made the cab or whether it had neo drivers in it (be aware that the weight saving of a neo driver accounts for a very small amount of the total weight of a cab)! I'd say that if you are having to transport equipment by yourself then you'd need to look at a modular rig whereby you are transporting smaller individual weights. Saying that if you always have someone to help you lift in and out of a vehicle then the answer is simply casters. Good luck and I hope the health issues don't get any worse too soon.

The guy selling this (Dave Wilson) is a great luthier so this will be set-up fantastically well. I've seen this in the flesh but never got the chance to play it. -
Well today was interesting. As well as on basschat I stuck it this bass up on gumtree (advertised for a higher price) this guy is very interested, rings up and we chat, lots of 'whats your lowest price you can do' chat, so tell him, option with a case option without a case. he drives from an adjacent town to come have a look at it. apparently as it is so damaged with dents on it (you can see them in the pictures) he doesnt want it. Goes away- then starts trying to talk me down via text, 'aw ill do it for £xxx', oh 'all do it for £xxx and throw in a squier' and that. The fact is if he had made me towards his last offer to start with I would have taken it happily! As it is it's just a bit annoying, maybe on gumtree folk barter more but it's just a daft, it has no concept of how much the thing is possibly worth. It seems like some wierd capitalist form of polite bullying. Thing is I am a stubbon obstonant person, and maybe importantly don't actually need the money at the moment. I was chatting to my wee brother and think I may lend it to him. (I tell the guy 'sorry but no, my brother is going to be taking it', he still then ups his bid... scheesh, he wasnt a very good player either!) It all makes me realise how nice and respectful of each other we are on here! The worst ive had with folk here is someone giving me a daft low offer to which I said no. It's nice we respect each other. It's been an honour to be offered a trade on some of the basses I've been offered! Anyway, I bought this bass as warwickhunt had it for sale and i loved the look of it, sold my status shark bass (the one doing the rounds on here), saved up (working on minimum wage at that point) and then pestered him (he had decided to keep it at that point) until he sold it to me. It is an amazing bass, the only reason I have it up for sale is as I found a natural wood one (sept 1991) which I prefer the sound too. The natural one was cheap enough that I don't need the money at the moment, and as such I'm taking ol' bluey down from sale for now. I'll hang on to it untill the time I need the cash, for a car or engagement ring or food or whatever. However, this is basschat, and most of you are good people; so as I did to warwickhunt, feel free to pester me if you want to cross my palm with silver and take ol' bluey out for a ride every night. Cheers Luke
Such a shame when you have a bad experience over a 'potential' sale Luke but rest assured someone will see the sense in buying Bluey!
TC Electronic 2x10 bass cab in very good condition. I bought this as I also own the RH450 head but I'm very happy with my Tecamp cabs and as nice as it sounds and easy to transport, I can't see myself using the TC cab so much going forward. Nice punchy tone and the HF is very smooth, not harsh or clangy. Used on 4 gigs. 400 watts. 8 ohms. Very small footprint so perfect for small stages. Looking for £300.00, cash collection. Will try and upload a picture in the next few days. Check the following link for all the spec..... RS210
Two cabs or a duplicate thread?

Just out of interest how do you know for sure that changing the pups will improve the tone of the bass? It's all hypothetical/debatable but surely what you are hearing is the inherent tone of the bass and the pups are simply amplifying that; I wouldn't have thought the pups on a bass like a CS Ltd Ed CC would have been shabby. If you don't like the sound you are hearing it could equally be some other aspect of the bass... Yes/No?

28 years ago I needed 100w (Marshall Superlead) to be heard in a band 23 years ago I needed 150w (Laney PB150) 17 years ago 250w (H&K BassBase 250 combo) 13 years ago 500w (the above x2) 7 years ago 850w (H&K BassBase 600 @ 2ohms) 2 years ago 1000w (Tech Soundsystems Black Cat OR a pair MB amps) Presently... 500w (Thunderfunk) and to be quite honest I'd bet I could manage with a lot less given what I know about amps, cabs, cab positioning and PA
