Warwick Just-A-Nut Saddles - spares?
warwickhunt replied to thisnameistaken's topic in Accessories and Misc
The Warwick shop don't sell them separate ( http://shop.warwick.de/index.php/cat/c61_J...Nut.html/page/1 ) but a couple of years ago I contacted the UK distributor explaining I'd lost one and they kindly sent me a whole new set of 4, might be worth a try. -

Personally id never think about giving that up for anything
Odd that it won't come up in any searches that I do! I assume that it is restricted to ebay.es as I can't get it using an eBay worldwide search... possibly limiting your potential market a bit Javier.
i know, i keep going back to the site because i simply cannot believe that you can buy an all tube amp and 8x10 for £1200... beside the fact that it's one that should cost over FIVE THOUSAND!! I don't need it. but i feel i need to buy it!
Believe me it is NOT an all tube amp. It has tubes in it, both pre and a tube in the power amp but it isn't a valve amp!
So how many people have TecAmp stuff arriving tomorrow? At last count...6/7?
I lost sleep last night considering bagging some of this gear BUT common-sense kicked in and I left alone... despite phoning GG this morning to check that the 2x12 combo was definitely sold!

I bought a whole load of new strings a while back and find that as I am clearing out basses and gear I'll have less need for the likes of these strings! Warwick EMP 'coated' 4 string Long Scale - 45/65/85/105 x 1 set £21 inc P&P [s]Hartke Nickel Wound Hex core 5 string Long Scale (or you can obviously throw away/give away the B string and you have a 4 string set ) - 40/60/75/95/125 or 40/60/75/95 x 1 set £7 inc P&P[/s] [s]Hartke Nickel Wound Hex core 5 string Long Scale (or you can obviously throw away/give away the B string and you have a 4 string set ) - 50/70/85/105/135 or 50/70/85/105 x [s]four[/s] [s]three[/s] 2 sets £7 inc P&P[/s] The Hartke strings may be cheap but don't be fooled, they are still decent strings. Colour coded ball ends show striking similarity to another more expensive manufacturer.

GATOR 2u 19" flitecase
warwickhunt replied to Beneath It All's topic in Accessories & Other Musically Related Items For Sale
...This is the deep model..near immac..£30 collected from Wakefield WF5
If I pay for and organise a courier, can you wrap it in a bin bag or similar and label it up for me? Wakefield isn't the other end of the world from Newcastle but it'd be a lot cheaper and quicker if I can do the courier thing. -
I bought the rack and tuner off Lee (cheers mate) BUT I rather foolishly assumed that the pair of 1U units that were to go in it would fit as they were just a dinky EQ and a multi-effects... unfortunately the Zoom effect is about 1" too deep! As such if anyone wants this as a trade against a 2U slightly deeper unit or wants to buy this outright, give me a shout. Sorry for hi-jacking the thread mate, I just thought anyone who was viewing this before might check back.

Ampeg svt810e (now sold /given away)
warwickhunt replied to lushuk's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Thanks for the kind words Rich don't suppose you want to trade it for yours do you? Anyway im gonna take £600 on this for a quick sale hows about that for a price slash! (pending the cab im after is still for sale)
If you get this sold I know where there is an 'as new' Ampeg 6x10 for sale @ £450. It would mean a trip to the NE but this cab was bought new very recently and has been transported to a bedroom and never moved. -
+1
+1 OBBM... you'll find you may get one or two more recommendations for our Dave before your thread dies out.

What a shame you can't remove the amp section from these combos and use as standalone products.

Bet the amp and cab sales section of the forum is going to be flooded in the very near future with either Tecamp products or you guys clearing out your old gear!
I dont understand...the info says its 4 ohms...yet it doesnt confirm it. I need to double check. Model: Puma Combo 210 Configuration: 2 x 10” TecAmp LE10-65 4 ohms THIS BIT Preamp: solid state preamp with gain, taste, lo, lomid, himid, hi, master controls, switchable mute, DI pre/post, XLR balanced DI out, 1 x effects loop, tuner out, line out, line in Power Amp: Class D amplifier, 320 w; 500 w / 4 ohms Power supply: switching power supply Cooling: high quality temperature controlled fan Tweeter: 1 x NTM-1 hi-mid speaker with double Neodym magnet system 4” cone Freq. Response: 35-18.000 Hz Dimensions (W x H x D): 44 x 65 x 41 cm; 17” x 25,5” x 16” Weight: 20,5 kg / 46 lbs
"Every Puma combo boasts an external Speakon® output for the connection of an additional speaker cabinet. " To add an additional cabinet the internal drivers would have to be an 8 ohm load otherwise were it a 4 ohm load you'd potentially be going down to 2 ohms! There's a long running thread over on TB and I've seen something in there about 320w into the combo internal load, which differs from the standalone puma amp doing 260w into an 8 ohm load... don't ask me how they do that. Here we go; feel free to try and read the whole 30 pages.
Im thinking of the 2x10 if its 4 ohms...itll stop me gassing for a Walkabout 1x12 for a bit
The 2x10 combo is running an 8 ohm internal load, so you'd need an 8 ohm extension cab to get the 500w.
Have to ask, anyone tempted by the Bad Bull and a pair of 8x10s?
Anyone considering the Bad Bull (and that is a stonking bargain) should be aware that you can't run a 4 ohm load off it. It operates at silly wattages BUT they are 8 ohms per output or 16 ohms bridged... BEWARE if you have a 4 ohm load!
-
Did anyone on here bag one of the 2x12 combos?
-
Yeah my confirmation email says S212 - I would prefer the M, but either way, a lightweight 2x12 that handles up to 600w is exactly what I need! That would be amazing! £2700 off RRP for an all-valve amp, they won't last long!
It isn't an all valve amp, iirc it just has a couple of valves in (inc' one in the power amp section)... the dead give away is the power to weight ratio!
Heftier, but not hefty! The 2U SKB is 4kg, the Boschma is 6kg.
That is a surprise, I'd have thought there was a bigger difference!
the pic is a rick.... But yeah, listed in the musicman section is interesting
Is there someone from Music Ground registered on BC by any chance? I only ask as there was a pic of a brand new white Stingray when I posted this thread... wish I'd taken a screenshot!
Cheers for the advice guys; some interesting stuff there. I'll have to have a look into a few of the brand names mentioned. The stuff I'm looking at racking will probably come to a total weight of just over 20kg so I guess I'd be looking at a pretty heavy duty case.
As far as I am aware all of the cases mentioned will be fine with that weight. I had a Warwick Protube IX head that weighed more than 20kg and it was housed in a Gator and then an SKB case no problem. If you have a bit of weight to the contents of the case you might want to look at the weight of the cases themselves; I recall that the Boschma cases are fairly hefty (which probably makes them a better bet when involved in a hefty knock and having seen WoT's case it could take a fall out of the back of a transit... on the motorway! ) and if it is just a case to carry in and out of the car with limited chance of a proper tumble then some of the lighter cases might be as appropriate and less hernia inducing.
