1. Love the idea of a 2x12 with vintage/coloured voicing but I'd want it to have an angled baffle; can't this be done but maintaining the 'external' casing as a rectangular prism? A cutaway in the top edge could be applied if the baffle angled back to the point where it might impede sound dispersion to the players ears but not so deep as to mean a standard flightcase wouldn't sit. .
2. I thought USPS had a maximum length restriction? I'm sure I've looked into it in the past and with neck on, in a case, with box, it exceeded their max dimensions... they could have amended it of late mind.
3. Your worst fears are correct Col, you will be liable for taxes (as will the recipient of your bass)! I've read (but have no proof) of folks that have allegedly sent items with returns coming back BUT the onus would be on you to get this sorted in advance and you'd need to 'prove' that it wasn't a trade or purchase. I was involved in a Warwick promotion and sending a preamp to the States (and back) had me paying taxes even though it went from me and back to me!
4. Not pushed it of late, so it certainly is!
5. Doesn't deserve to sell that for the glaringly obvious mistake this time!
6. Nothing 'ltd' about that bass at all! I recently saw a SSI advertised similarly as a 2002 'Anniversary' model (i.e. 20 years after they started) but it was NOT in any way limited... it was simply produced 20 years after their first one!
7. I think you should swap your Aggies for something like... ooooh possibly... maybe a... Bergantino AE2x12! What's that you say, 'who would have one of those'... why yes I do have.
8. Banks charge £20-£30 but who in their right mind trusts a complete stranger in another country to just send a wedge of cash to them? Paypal/eBay have had that little money-spinner going for quite a while now.

10.
Maybe she took my advice and ended it early, if it didn't looked like she wasn't going to get a decent price for it. I said that, even in the manky condition that it was in, it was worth £500. Given a clean and a set of strings up to £700. She seemed, from the emails I recieved, that she just genuinely didn't have a clue.
Well that'll have shot any BCer in the foot who was hoping to snag a JV on the cheap (and take the chance of it being fecked)!
11.
.... would the seller tell potential buyers 'not to go mad with the bidding'? I think not.
Reverse psychology... the oldest trick in the book; added to which, if it does turn out to have problems, the seller can clearly show ebay that he tried to highlight to potential buyers that it had 'issues'! Not saying this is the case BUT his back is well and truly covered when/if greedy gits still end up bidding hundreds on this in the hope it is a hidden treasure!
12. If the soundclips are of TP then YES we defo do!
13. PRIMA LPR600 Fully functioning, no issues what-so-ever. We have moved into this house and the dishwasher was already in situ, there are only two of us so the dishwasher is taking up valuable space rather than being of huge use! Collection only from Blyth, Northumberland and you will need to disconnect and remove it from the kitchen (without damaging the unit it is built in). It is however... FREE
14. I bought this Streamer as I was so taken with the bolt-on Dolphin Pro II that I have (I've owned NT Pro I basses and always considered BO to be inferior... WRONG). It has more snap/attack than the SSI basses I have BUT I can't get away with the chunkier neck! The neck will suit those who don't want the skinny necks on some Warwicks, possibly those who like a P profile rather than a J. All electrics are first class and the neck is true with no issues. Overall condition is good/excellent with one scratch on the upper horn. Supplied with Fender straplocks (inc' strap fittings). Price includes UK shipping in a generic hardcase. Not wanting to trade for a bass but a couple of Aguilar DB12 cabs would be of interest. 15. Just found the original receipt/guarantee from May 2013 when I bought it.
16. 'limited sound'...really! As to why would you fit them to a higher quality bass; If they sound great on a cheapy bass, imagine how much better they'd be on a good/active bass! In (semi)seriousness... flats will only sound as good as your fingers or as good as your amplification.
17. Anth came back to buy some other bits and bobs, top fella!
18.
if anybody buys but wants the original pups i would offer to buy the wizards please
The new owner may well have the Wizards for sale if you are interested.
19. Anth just bought a set of strings from me and he's an all round top chap!
20. I agree that you'd be hard pushed to beat Peavey for budget bass quality.
