2. Loads of info on the net and it works fine on bass. I have a rack-mount tuner and this has basically been used to tune an electro acoustic in the house... about 5 times! Still boxed with plastic on screen and all paperwork etc.
3.
Thought you might have done !
Oh and sent him a message.
4.
There is of course the 'Search' function up in the top right hand corner - where instead of 'this topic' you can toggle to search for 'members' with the same name as the e-bayer!
Already sussed.
5. ...Oh and a name check would be appreciated!
6. Oddly enough I have one going out in Jan'... potentially leaving a wall hanger empty (two if I sell the LX).
7.
is that the photo that you've now taken down?
I've used the pic on BC before. BTW I'm not having a 'dig' at whoever used the pics and description, I was just as interested in asking about the damage to his/her bass.
8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271344631967?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Contains a pic of my bass and description both taken from Basschat... is it a regular BCer?
9. A bump for those who are aware that Christmas is less than a week away and that this little fact isn't suddenly going to make buying a bass an issue!
10.
If I only had the money.....! ( I think it was me that fitted the wizards)
In fact I've just looked and I didn't get this bass from you! It certainly isn't the bass that you had for sale that had the extra relicing; so unless you had another RW that you fitted Wizards to it likely isn't yours. .
11. There is no option for a simple; 'I have tried a few/many of them and I do not like the sound that they exhibit'. 'I like my cabs with a tonal character/distortion/booty and the BF cabs don't give it'. ... actually it is very difficult to choose the words as they could be twisted/misinterpreted
12.
But... But.... The badge will be WONKY!!
Hmmmm not on the Autistic spectrum at all then?
13. I was also under the impression that if your item is presently for sale on here (so you'd have paid fees) then you could include a link BUT you couldn't simply post a link to an ebay sale of your item... is that not the case? It doesn't matter a jot to me as I'm not listing on ebay but clarification would be good.
14.
The only thing that bugged me a little about the 1126 is that it's squat, like the Berg 12s and Aggie DBs, so it's firing at your calves. Not a problem with a pair (that would sound massive..!) but if it was my main single cab, I'd get one in vertical configuration.
Vertical config... tip it on it's side you mean.
15. Some excellent stuff (never ever really got Priest but hey ho) and I'd throw (early) Queen into the mix!
16. I'd take this back in the blink of an eye (AGAIN!)... if it weren't for the fact I am trying to clear a couple of wall hangers!
17.
Your pick-ups look a bit more on a slant John?
They are and I've never quite got why they did that, as it is minimal and can't make much if any difference!
18. I have a similar aged Sterling and the neck is rock solid and never needs fettling/tweaking!
19. Same pick-up config as the 5th Anniversary bass.
20. Sorry to do this but I'm going to withdraw the cab from sale. I've had no joy finding replacements and I've tried a couple of cabs lately that just left me cold, so better to stick with what I have.
21. Hmmmm... (strokes chin as he gazes at the Roadworn Jazz sitting unused).
22. I've just realised... is this (one) of my old bass?
23. I have an 'as new' Hellborg pre for sale (sales section); fantastic pre but I am presently wedded to my Thunderfunk. I have to confess that I am 90% certain it'll be sold next week but you never know!
24.
Looks just like the one I sold to John
Slightly later headstock shape, body 'slightly' fatter and the neck body joint is more sculpted than the 84 version... but lovely all the same
