  1. See if the workshop can turn and part-off a couple of brass spacers, take the washers in as measure... Packet of Chocolate Hobnobs type job that...
  2. Any wood work types in the workshop? Have you considered a slight counter route for the front of the bridge to get in flush to the body at the rear? I'm thinking that the saddles may be high even at their lowest, or is their quite a lay back neck angle? Cheap progress?... something to move the project on.
  3. Mine arrived today... The MV P covers are a knat's bigger, not enough to effect fitting to the guitar, and pole spacing is the same, but I had to give the Bobbin ends a light sanding to get the coils in my Cream Covers... No real issue BIG Shout-Out (or should that be loud...) for David Adams @ MVP who also makes a 4 Wire Stacked Low Rider in a jazz bass pickup format.
  4. Like the 'Fablon' Photo Flame finish?... I would hope not...

  10. Neck and Bridge Pickups are the same size, but with slightly different pole spacing, ave 18mm. Length 100mm Width 34mm Pickups can work passive, and with the Vol, Blend and Tap Switch. - See YouTube Clip 2 Band EQ may be faulty, but will include anyway with Batt Box, Snap, Scews etc. But no control knobs, Solid Shaft Pots. Any Good?

  13. O'Keeffs Working Hands... stings a bit but great stuff...
  14. Body is with @Andyjr1515to do his magic... Mark at Spartan Music did me a great deal on an Artec QTP Passive 5 Position Tone Switch instead of a standard tone pot... Adam Davis of Maida Vale Pickups, on Reverb, has kindly wound me a Low Rider with some blemished Alnico IV poles he had knocking about to support my build, so i'll look forward to try that by way of something different... Been on to Ben at Vanson Guitars on ebay for a pair of their FULL dome knobs that i like and have on my other Bitsas... And Amy and Colin at Advantage Music for some Adagio Flats...
  15. Looks quite the menace... Looking at the pickup cavaties... J and T Bird type bucker?.. could it go just pickup with a small plate for the controls?
  16. Thanks all.. The only real contenders Unlined, 2 Octave and reasonable £ were a Harley Benton BF450 @ £165 or a Gear4Music Jobby @ £130... So I think i did alright!
