1. Musicman Stingray Neck. Rosewood, fretted for 4-string. 6-bolt fitting. Came from a 2004 SR 3EQ. *Sold*
2. If you're after a stiff one - try Tribal Planet!
3. While you're waiting to get your hands on one - this demo's good.
4. Front pocket normally.... ...normally forget to put one in there though. Needed it at the last gig though - got cramp in my fingers!
5. Looks in great nick!
6. Go for it - doing covers is fun and it's not all Robbie Williams or classic rock. PA wise, we've got 2x powered speaker cabs (£250ea), a mixer with FX built in (£100), a powered monitor each (£100ea) and mics and cables (£100ish). PM me if you want details.
7. Come on guys - if you're gigging in a band this is an excellent bass.
8.
MB1. ....Difficult Member?..
9. GK - £350 is a great price for a Tribute L2000 - that's their secondhand value in the UK. Go for it, they're are great basses. Need a testimony? I gig mine most weekends! You can get Stingray bite, Jazz honk and P bass thump in one bass which is also light and comfortable to play. It was apparently Leo Fender's favourite bass design as it combines the best bits of the others he created. Only con is that the necks have that cheap bleached wood look. Can't really think of any others. Edit: the controls look complicated but are quite simple. Pickups and electrics are US made. 1. Pickup selector - neck/neck+bridge/bridge 2. Series/parallel switch 3. Active switch - passive/active/active boost I usually have both pickups on and the active on, but not boosted. Sounds great.
10.
That had me going for a while
Me too.

12. Find a new band, that's the solution. Worked for me.
13. Here you go: Drummer in band turns down gig after gig, causing politics. Eventually bandmembers can't be arsed with it, so two of us call it a day. Drummer pipes up: "...but I was up for playing a load of gigs this year..."
14.
I took the T bird, no one exept another bass player remarked on it, I didnt get laid. Dohhhhh
Did the guitarist?
15. That looks great.
16. Must be a typo. Surely.
17. Isn't the 5th string for resting your thumb on?
18. I love that Sadowsky ad: "the last two years have been a period of intense collaboration, experimenting and prototyping ...." And the result? ...a Fender Jazz copy!
19. Final bumpy before the Bay.
20. Go for the one that's more fun to play.
21. And replied. Now offering free UK shipping on this.
22. My drummer's an appalling timekeeper. He once turned up to the gig 2 hours after we'd started it.
23. Personally, I've gone off the heavy American basses and enjoy gigging the lighter Far East stuff. Easier to play, easier to swing about, great sound and better value The gear snob thing is a bit of nonsense really when you consider a lot of great records were recorded using very average basses.
24. Sorry to hear about this - hope it turns up soon.
