Unless you've got a roadie, an 8x10 must be a real pain in the arse. Go for two 4x10s and then you're not always shifting the fridge about!

Corona. The basses that come from there are not always to my taste - but the beer's not bad!

I think he just wanted it out of the way and wanted some cash. He said since getting a Ken Smith a year ago, he hasn't touched it. He's a pro who tours a lot and I guess basses become more like tools, you get a bit more emotionally detached than those of use who use them at weekends for a hobby. It's six years old.

I use an old Westone Thunder 1A to practice on. It's great!

Just used them for the first time and delivery was really quick. 3 working days. Ordered on the Thurs, they sent me a note to confirm despatch on Fri and the stuff turned up on Weds. Great comms all the way through - you can see why they've got a good rep. It came via DHL by the way, rather than UPS. Hope your stuff turns up soon!

Wish I had a Guitar Center near me! Especially if it was in US$. Always enjoy bring something back when I visit the States. Gotta love that £ against the $.

After a new set of nickel strings for a 5-string bass I've just got. Anyone seen any good deals around at the moment please? Not brand loyal - but prefer nickels.

It's a bit orange and need a good clean, new strings and a service but it feels really nice. Really played in. Here's a pic to appease/encourage some GAS. Edit: there was no case which was a shame, but all the paperwork. And the nice guy selling it also did me a deal on top of the quoted price.

+1 for a Rumble. I sold mine to get a 4x10 setup and I wish I'd kept it.
