  1. Sorry for the delay replying haven't been on Basschat for a while. Yes, there were a few faults, worst was the nut protruding a good 2 or 3 mm on the E string side. As I have a dremel and a selection of diamond files I fixed it myself. My bridge seems fine with regard to string alignment , locking screw means Bridge is upside down as you say. This is the same on a Fallout Tribute that I bought second hand a while ago, this also had a few ropey bits finish wise. I'm wondering if Guitar Guitar decided to unload some B-Stock which does seem a bit underhand! Did you keep or return yours? Almost wish I'd picked up a Jack Cassady instead but happy enough. However they both play and sound great though I'm going to tweak the set-ups and maybe out some flats on the Fallout. Thought I'd given up 4 strings?!! Edging steadily towards too many Basses having picked up 2 acoustics as well in last few months.
  2. Can't post a link - but a Brighton band called Poly-Math. Sort of jazz rock revival with a heavy metal tinge and lead Sax and brass section. Pretty good saw them live last Saturday evening. Album on order vinyl and CD.
  3. Gather he was playing Glasgow last night (26th). Wonder if he survived ?
  4. Slightly not in the spirit of the OP's premise but they're Jazzmen. Diles Mavis Hankie Herbcock
  5. As I live in a top floor flat with a mansard roof I need to curtail my activities when the slates start to vibrate off ! Don't ask how long it took me to get a Trace 1818t up 64 steps.
  6. Looks great, also an interesting looking right handed aria too.
  7. Has the tour been booked/arranged by Mr Mick Mason of Leicester?
  8. Purchased a bundle of Trace Elliot bits and bobs from Dan. Easy Communications, amazingly rapid despatch / receipt and extremely well packed. Brilliant. Been driving neighbours nuts with my Trace Footswitch which allows me to footle at a safe distance !!
  9. Epiphone Jack Casady L/h on offer at Guitar Guitar for £499 (in stock) . Sorry @uk_lefty. Also G&L L2000 tribute L/h on offer for £399 (just bought one). If I'd spotted the Epi I would have bought that instead. Guitar Guitar must be well overstocked or something, there are 12 pages of reduced stuff on offer including high end stuff like Strandberg Guitars and nice Japanese fenders.
  10. What you can see for sale on't-net. Facebook snake dude Chandler being silly with 14 foot King Cobra's in his "Serpentarium' or dodgy sweatshop power amps 🙀
  11. Great deal on a passive tone plate for a Squier Jazz. Exemplary transaction from a cool seller
  12. Bought an Okto Nojs. Absolutely positive transaction and a lovely pedal.
  13. In the end ("gentrification" notwithstanding) it's still in Tottingham.
  14. Meshuggah plus Zeal & Ardor at the REH 3rd June. Then Steve Vai at Palladium.
  15. The Cure. Love Cats One Flea, One Flea, One Flea, One Flea Pretty.
  16. Couple of tins of pilchards in your gig bag - sorted. Kitty Breath will preclude pianist getting any snogging/groupie action though (result)
  17. Any Trace stack will be mega heavy if you buy a used one. Can be bought cheap here in UK as a result. There is a dealer called Amp Broker in Poland who does Trace stuff with apparently reliable shipping. Might be expensive though, have a look on Reverb.
  18. Yup keep the Trace, you'd need to buy something much more expensive to sound any better, also mostly pretty bombproof. Unless you need lighter eqpt then keep the Trace.
  19. Can you get your keyboard players or guitarists spayed / neutered though. Or if worst comes to worst - euthanised?
  20. Reincarnation - sounds lIke De-pu**y😁 It's a great clip, the concentration and tail time beating / metronome are awesome. The cockatoo clip is another favourite, bird should join Clown core.
  21. Try a bit of Glen Branca's music for 100 geetarz, now that takes commitment/committal, sectioning.
  22. Scunner ain't that rude, just a downer/disappointment?
