  1. The only way is up, Yazz and the Plastic "Something"
  2. Lovely. Really like glossy instruments with signs of regular careful use and wear. Wish I had the money.
  3. @chriswareham what day are you on at the Lex ? Your Band name. Haven't been there in yonks, would be cool to hear those Acoustics .... JOdeV
  4. mostly this, though ive a few nexus cabs. This is 4 ohm 56lbd and makes the laney a semi practical option. Other than its aabbsurddly loud
  5. Yup. I got one for 599 some time ago, pick up only. Hefty thing to pick up from Halesowen
  6. Saw that the Growlers were available in l/h , are they worth the money. Certainly a nice looking Bass.
  7. Keep on browsing the Reverend website and (semi) hoping they'll produce some left handed versions

  11. Seems a reasonably fair price .....
  12. I think my 1818t sounds pretty cool, even with just an ashdown ctm30. The latterday cabs aren't as heavy as the classic ones though 1818t is bloody awkward for 1 person..!
  13. Westone Thunder 1 a . £250.00. Located in Kettering. Looks rather like the one I sold in 1993ish , sigh..... On F/B Marketplace (fwiw etc etc, but looks legit.) As I'm on gear abstinence thread I'm posting for my own ( vicarious ) benefit.
  14. It's an amazing thing but I will have to bring it to a bass bash for any examination of its capabilities, ... When Laney sold the unsold ones as Boxed NOS for £599 I went and got one.
  15. 1528 is surely nowhere near that heavy, (also has integral wheels) havent weighed mine mind you. 4 ohm 1524 is the weight monster by all accounts
  16. an elegant sufficiency of Valves
  17. Long old schlep to get it from Carlisle, glad I already have a 1528.
  18. Abstaining for 2025 is easily accomplished, am utterly broke. Picked up my last acquisition a week before Xmas, a Trace Elliot 4 x 8. Therefore I'm in at present..
  19. Yes indeed am certain as can be that amp was plonked on top for this show . The Chris Severin bassist a huge person guy was excellent. I counted six tuners then 7 then thought is that a seven string schecter wtaf ....
  20. Heroin - Velvet Underground
  21. Thanks Thodrik, that was what had lodged in my faulty memory.
  22. Can someone remind me of the "flat" settings on this lovely little amplifier??
  23. So a trace fetishist ? Me too. I think this is all the amps in one go ....!?
