  1. The first time ever I saw your Faeces - Faith no More / Thames Water.
  2. Can't say that Mr Neill hasn't had some sad vicissitudes in his life but even so. Suppose his punishment is having ended up looking as he does and sounding like a mating Elephant Seal rather than a singer !
  3. I get that. Ah500x has 2 inputs on front panel. From what you say I can't split pre amp sections to utilise both individually to each single 250w power section then. Wish I had a users manual for it then my understanding might be more complete. However, I do know that you can get 2 input/output channel preamps like KRK Rockit , in which case I can hitch that up to this
  4. Here we are. Now two cheap preamps, a Rickenbacker Y cable and my friend's Rickenbacker. Bit tatty but not as heavy as I expected. Cheers for info @VTypeV4 and @bremen
  5. Let alone the poor Hanoi Rocks drummer who rode in a deTomaso Pantera with a rat-arsed Vince Neill
  6. Looks rather nice. Hasn't posted a price mind you https://www.facebook.com/share/p/6gjLXSrPwYhXK6TN/
  7. And me, though Motley Crüe have made a fair few unhappy as well.
  8. Footballs Coming Home - Killing Joke
  9. Mothers little helper - the strolling bones
  10. Love propaganda
  11. In the case of Nikki Sixx also irrelevant
  12. Irrelevant if you don't like limp bizkit.
  13. I hear you regarding weight and size. Misguidedly carted an Ashdown mag410 up my 66 steps in a hurry (only) once. As for parcel truck adventures when I picked up the boxed nexus tube amp at laney.....
  14. Medicated follower of Fashion - Pete Docherty and Kate Moss
  15. No problem krysh. More attention the merrier. Am happy to field enquiries if required. As it happens my humble bass means I've joined lets talk guild in good faith. Much more restrictive than on here, I imagine because its US based etc? My humble Guild Starfire I bass
  16. BTW vtype v4. Your not anywhere near Audley / Betley North Staffordshire are you?. Used to have friends who lived in Bell Farmhouse Balterley on the former main crewe Rd.
  17. I'm only at all familiar with pre smx stuff. In my relative youth Tracey gear was the unattainable stuff used by Mark King or the living colour dude. Now an Ah500x (purchased a footswitch, hotcover, xlr spkr cables & spare blacklight bulbs, from on here) , 1818t, 1528, Ra300. Possibly a v type combo in a bit. A selection of preamps to go with ra300 when I'm not stonybroke.
  18. Known worse, isn't baphomet the name of an incarnation of the devil. Other than designer names like les paul I think alpha numerics have their advantages
  19. Stripling, I was born in 1962 down the road from where I'm still living in Westminster SW1P
  20. As I recall you've had a few Nexus Cabs, a Nexus tube amp plus more ?
  21. Is that headstock inspired by the Dan Hartmann bass guitar jumpsuit.
  22. Emphatically Seconded. The viktor brandt (dimmu borgir) version my favourite the ultimate explorer/t-bird shaped bass
  23. So as far as my imperfect understanding goes Rickenbackers need a stereo 6.5 trs jack wired to a shielded (4 core ??) Cable with one pair of trs plugs at each of the split pairs at the other end. I assume these can be mono plugs as they each only utilise 2 (positive and earth) of the bifurcated four core cable. Any maximum length to avoid signal drop ? @VTypeV4 as an aside if a Rick was plugged into an AH500X could the two bass inputs be individually routed through the gp preamp and then thru power section.
  24. Laney weighs 77lbs and was fkn unwieldy when I picked it up as NOS in its box at laney hq in Halesowen. Pick up only. I reckon the footswitch must weigh about another 10lbs !! Apparently laney also had a load of ex backline n810s and nx810s going cheap too. As I minicabbed back to Brum and used an excellent alloy parcel truck I passed on those. N410 ought to be a bit cheaper if someone stuck in an offer. Was worried that national coach driver at Digbeth coach station might refuse to load box (duct taped to said screwfix parcel truck. Cab not a problem home 1 mile from Victoria coach station luckily not p'ing down like it was in Halesowen
  25. Quilter drives it surprisingly loud too.😀🤣
