    On a happier note here are some of the indulgences that remained unscathed. Thank you again @agedhorse. Will flag you when I post some gut-shots of the Laney. In my view it's a masterpiece. Picked up cheap from Laney boxed as NOS for approx the cost of a set of the tubes.

    Played this thru Ashdown & 1 Laney N115. Pub gig earlier with a (latterly) semi pro drummer. I went to nursery and primary school with Simon and his Mum still lives across the yard. Love my shop bought Guild Starfire I sounded mint. Ernie Ball Slinky medium gauge roundwounds.

    AGREED .Gallagher senior's third rate guitar smeared over everything (Malcolm Young he wasn't. With narked whining as the icing on the cake. Noel's only notable talent was occasionally skewering scathing comments regarding stuff like the Michael Jackson / Jarvis Cocker incident.
