  1. Love me jenga - George Michael's driving instructor
  2. Sorry, as a longtime central London cyclist who commuted on a Steely Columbus Framed Racer I do confess I had my moments, fright induced primarily. My Basso Loto was not tote your Bass and Ld110 Combo material at all...
  3. Assuming your not prone to road rage of course...😃
  4. No worries, just recall it being a tad counterintuitive. Might ask Ashdown.
  5. Funky Mary (?!?) - Aphrodite's Child...
  6. There once was a man called Oedipus Rex - Tom Lehrer
  7. Hi Merton. Can you remind me when the eq on these is flat. I lent it to a deranged Rickenbacker player along with my Epifani ul212. Sat in with him and it did sound mint. He swears he didn't let it run hot at all/ not for long.... but I had swapped the original factory valves back in anyway. Did you do any Valve swapping and notice any difference?? Pre amp or Power Valves. Cheers John
  8. SELF EXPLANATORY I GUESS. Picture to Follow.
  9. Better Picture of my lefty KSD
  10. Personally I wouldn't carry any favourite basses in a gigbag on a bike. Grandma to suck eggs sort of observation I guess .....
  11. Audere preamp has the ridiculous z switch and with black nylon strings it's a bit of a monster. Would quite like to find a lefty 704 or 705 at some point. Ideally for the price I paid for this which is bodily battered. Still have the original preamp. Are your pickups original or replacements, think 1 of mines weak and they're possibly both a bit ho hum. Cheers John dV
  12. Jumpin' In - Dave Holland Quintet
  13. Sort of turning into songtitle word association thread ....
  14. The eponymous Chon album again. Pity band has given up, this is a great bit of fusion/math rock. If you like that sort of thing
  15. What size is the combo.? Get a smaller combo and a better bike rack. Or go down the teeny bass amp head and small cab route.
  16. Yup, DBV 410 Laney. Sounds like it's voicing might suit you but pretty weighty by GR or Barefaced standards.
  17. There is a vertical Revsound Cab but they are a US company. Doubt there are any in UK. Laney digbeth cab might be too heavy and big but worth a look
  18. Mercy Seat - Mr Cash
  19. Got a lefty 605 J just like this, but an Audere preamp. They are very good instruments . Hefty and very long @thestick did you find a gig bag or case that could accommodate one of these ? GLWTS
  20. High Tension - Ac/Dc
  21. Speed King - Deep Purple
  22. Well someone bought it for 31 quid. Apparently Peek Freans made better tone tins...
  23. There's a guy called Luca Merlatti who makes them. You can find him on Facebook / Messenger for sure.
