  1. Some of the Corts are ok @ below a Grand? Admittedly I only have an ancient but pristine Action 5 scored for £70 last year. It's pretty good.
  2. Like the one that doesn't look like a Fender clone. Don't dislike the others tho.
  3. Really enjoy Vulfpeck but I know what you mean. Some of their getting into it moves on the live vids look a bit false/mannered. The Gurning guy playing the hi-hat's highly amusing tho. They came over a bit snobby in the vid plugging the plug ugly MM signature IKEA Bass too.. Finally, Mr Dart's neck vertebrae are going to be utterly wrecked by his late 50's surely.
  4. Much as I like his selections, it's still - well - Craig Charles. To be fair he's evidently into the music and doesn't chat over much
  5. She's quite wry and funny too, the antithesis of her Dad. You just have to get over the realisation that you're old enuff for R2
  6. How much, what's the wattage on these?
  7. A sort of grope suit with one of those deep bass vibration units that Bass Direct are selling installed. Would need to be machine washable mind you!
  8. "The p**s end of my life" started me off weren't sure if my tears were laughter or sympathy😂🤣😙
  9. Thanks to Kiesel FB page have been getting into a startlingly good Country/Chickenpickin' Guitarist called Johnny Hiland. Sweep picking with additional fingernails and loads of Ghost Notes. Not my usual Genre at all but he's a Phenom for sure.
  10. As per EJ thread, Elton's car crash during recent streamed performance was utterly toe-curling. There's a rather cruel subtitled version doing the rounds on Facebook which is bloody funny.
  11. Peatbog Faeries are fun too, try Croftwerk or Mellowosity.
  12. Some of the Shades of Rhythm tracks, Consolidated, Meat Beat Manifesto Renegade Soundwave stuff was good too.
  13. I am simply using a 2.5mm to phono adaptor into my amp careful with the gain and the stuff via my phone sounds reasonably decent. Got very into the Sahz Trio (jazz fusion) with the 7str Fretless player from Obscura. Plus loads of stuff with Allan Holdsworth on it. Also a staggering country/chickenpickin' Guitarist called Johnny Hiland via the Kiesel Guitars Group. A change from their usual mindless shredding content.
  14. Same can be said for some of the more interesting Facebook groups. So much stuff that went under the radar. Problem is I then end up spending loads via Discogs. Still like my Stereo System, call me a Luddite. Happy Listening to you too
  15. Hope it happens, was unaware of UK visit, will do some research. On a different perspective was supposed to see Chon last night, not sure I've received refund yet;?!
  16. Like that lots, guess no Leftys available?
  17. Saw them at (I think) the Forum with a pal and they were v v good. Latter-day effect is I G.A.S for a Schecter dUg Pinnick Bass and have to console myself with reports that they have awful neck dive.
  18. Kings Cross were bloody good, sounds like managerial problems and religious strife may have done for them. Must check out some Tesla.
  19. Cobain is summed up by Uber junkie William Burroughs' reaction after a chat with him. "I don't know what's wrong with that Boy"
  20. Well I can think of 3 for Martyn, but the later Albums when he was on the sauce with Phil Collins are curate's eggs at best. Still have them cos of his gorgeous Voice.
  21. Oh god yes indeed, absolutely. Utter Dross Given the late Magenta Divine was involved I guess large quantities of Narcotics were in the Mix.
