  1. If and when it comes back home I'll get one of those electric powered washing machine trolleys for the occasion ! The penalty of a midlife crisis Rig. TBH with the handle on the head I'm not bothered about moving it. Took it back home today. Have now taken out some insurance for all this stuff.
  2. Yeah I know, it was living up 64 steps here till today.!!! However it does do b-strings in an inimitable fashion ! Had invested in a nice quality 8 metre instrument lead so we were able to retire to a safe distance. The fan was on high setting for a while, things were rather silly for a bit !!
  3. Decided Central London was a place to escape today, took all of the stuff up to a friend's practice space early this morning (borrowed a friend's estate car). Did some bi- amping experimentation, wound the amp output down a bit on one of his nice guitar cabs for the highs. Also did the 4 bass cabs thing on split full range. Holy Moly that is more than 500 watts, think I might have bruised Kidneys! His Rickenbacker sounded so good along with his nice Jaguar. However my Sire M2 more than held its own, those pickups and pre amp kick out some output (needed to wind the gain back). My KSD 5er (Audere Pre) with new d'Addario Tapewounds sounds simply massive. Thank you for the Amp sir. Have just put in a bid on a Laney N115, moving the Trace 1818 is rather a trial!
  4. Think some amplifier kit of his is up for sale as well.
  5. One of these in L/handed configuration has been a dream of mine for a while. Wish I had the money at present. GLWTS
  6. And now I will start getting effects G.A.S to go with a good rig.
  7. Got the download am waiting for the CD. It's a bit "busy" but I really like it, their playing is as impressive as ever
  8. Thanks will try massaging the photo a bit. Phones a cheapish Nokia I bought to replace a much nicer contract Samsung a20 that got stolen.
  9. Can't seem to get photos to show direct only able to post a URL Google Gallery link with the choose files method.
  10. https://photos.app.goo.gl/tEYWYzVPpGTCYHt87 Hope this works, had difficulty getting this from my phone. Picture Quality not great. Am probably going to grab the Birmingham N115, it's back up on ebay. Bound to be more portable than the TE t1818!
  11. Will pop it out onto balcony int' Sun tomorrow and do some pics (with my 2 nicer Basses ) Suspect I might also check the acoustics on the tiled staircase/blow away the drifts of Skunk wafting up from the kiddies below.
  12. It's pretty teeny for a 4x10, carried it up 64 steps to my flat using 1 handle. The local yout' were a bit impressed that it was 600w, "you look too old to be a DJ mate". My response was "you look too young to be smoking jazz woodbines sonny"
  13. I had a look at the LaVoce site, did you know they make 21" neodymium drivers. They even provide free PDF cabinet diagrammatics too. An Isobaric 2x21 with one of those old Yamaha Studio Poweramps Bridged, disaster area/fracking time. Am joking Btw. However I've purchased @chimikes TE 1818 which now seems a bit unnecessary, still might be fun however.
  14. Can't imagine you'd find anyplace better qualified.
  15. It's in brilliant nick, I might do that yet. Tend to be a bit pernickety/anal retentive about my stuff. However that tuff coating looks pretty heavy duty. The likelihood of me developing Barefaced longings is now minimal. Why aren't these Nexus Cabs getting more attention/hype?
  16. It's a pretty devastatng combination with stewblacks. AH500x. First time I've had a 4x10 that weighs less than my Amp, 1st time I've carried a 4x10 on a Bus too😳
  17. An absolutely brilliant gesture. Old school customer service too, may get some more old TE gear on the strength of thatπŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
  18. It's a fantastic combination with the Ah500. Half setting on the tweeter suits me but sounds fine on full output too. Wound the volume up to 4ish for a bit ha ha ha, a bigger space may yet get sillier.
  19. Picked it up today, having checked dimensions and weight I went up on Bus (the Joint Studios @ Kings Cross) decided to do the same on the way back! Just stopped playing with it for now an absolutely awesome little cab. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, can't believe my luckπŸ˜πŸ˜‰
  20. Vendor had just taken it down, I offered the Asking Price and have just purchased this. Suspect it will go nicely with My recent TE AH500x from @stewblack. What do you reckon Stewart?
  21. But only if they stray into your Cort-i-zone 😊
  22. And a rocking chair on your porch.
  23. Wow, rather more than KSD 5er then. I need to get a comfy strap, that's for sure. My jamming pals take the p**s when I play seated.
