1. Still here! To get this amp all you have to do is meet me in Deptford, south London and hand over £30. It really is that simple!
2.
I'm surprised there aren't more 4 string players. I certainly can't remember the last time I played a gig and someone in the other bands had a 5 stringer. Infact...I can but only because I sold him it!
Same. I've rarely seen a 5-string at a gig.
3. It's the North London debut of a new-look, four-piece Prescott, featuring Keith Moliné (Pere Ubu) alongside Kev Hopper (Stump), Rhodri Marsden (Scritti Politti) and Frank Byng (Snorkel, Crackle, many others). A mesmerising collection of new tunes featuring soaring melodies, nagging riffs and explosive sounds. Also, the legendary Charles Hayward at the piano with his (begin anywhere) project: "A sequence of betrayal, paranoia, subterfuge, as well as sound events, spoken word and percussion pieces, stark, minimal arrangements; an unexpected departure." And binding the whole thing together from the safety of the DJ booth will be Kavus Torabi (Knifeworld, Gong, Cardiacs). Wednesday 2nd March, Servant Jazz Quarters, 10A Bradbury Street, N16 8JN London Dalston, London £5 on the door
4. Both equally important to me.
5. I'd recommend heavier strings on a short scale: 110-50 to overcome flabbiness. They can be a bit dull sounding.
6.
We are obsessed with singers in the UK. I'd rather listen to instrumentalists. Davo
Yep.
7. Percy Interviewed here
8. THE best little amp in the world. I've had one of these for years.
9. Still here!
10.
You can put regular E A D G strings on, if you can find ones that are long enough, especially the bottom E. (Some day I'll figure out how to embed photos in my posts!)
11. Still here! £30! c'mon!
12. I'll always associate him with Joe Zawinul''s exotic Latin Jazz compositions and being an equal part of one of the greatest bands of all time. Context is everything and people may prefer his Joni Mitchell and Weather Report stuff to the intense spotlight focused on his bass in the solo albums. His role in the development of bass playing is so obvious it hardly needs a mention.
13. Still available
14. Far too many to mention. This is a ridiculous task.
15. Sunday's gig in a chilly but pleasant venue featuring my one-note per chord bass line. http://youtu.be/RpvkF1T7xCE

Now they have added guitarist, Keith Moline (Pere Ubu) to the ranks making them something of a SUPERGROUP. 19. Sorry, I won't be holding it or reserving it for more than a couple of days so the first person to pay and collect (preferably in cash) gets it. Trying to clear some space...
20. Endless tone shaping and a famously unique compressor onboard ...all for the price of a round of drinks.
21. Collect from South London
